Join us as we travel North America in our Holiday Rambler Vacationer, 

 since August 2006

       Nice sunny day but a north wind up to 30 mph (50kph), so think its time to be "On the Road Again" like Willie Nelson says.

      So today we will putter around, check more places to travel and some things to see, or just hang to out in different and new places.

     Our original plan was to go to Mexico and travel down the west coast to Mazatlan (Tres Amigos RV park) take two to three weeks to get there, maybe stay a month then another three to 4 weeks heading back north to the USA, exploring different areas and communities along the way. Similar to the way we travelled in Mexico last year. Now we are full time RVer's and we love to travel and keep moving about, but with all the hype about terrorism etc... in Mexico we decided maybe find some travel buddies. Well thats not a problem and we did hook up with two other couples that want to go to Mazatlan as well. We planned an itinerary to get us there with a few stops along the way. But then we decided maybe we would like to go later in the year or early next year or to different places. So we revamped our plans, cancelled the travel buddies, and will strike out wandering and exploring a bit around southern Arizona, California, New Mexico, stay a week here and a week there, after our two weeks in St. Davids Arizona, we had booked this quite a while ago. This is more the way we like to travel, no strings, no ties, enjoy the trip as well as the destination, and go where the spirit moves us.

      We did a lot of that the first few years and really enjoyed it, now we find that we were heading in a different direction and we both did not feel right about this structured style of living. We had met so many really amazing, interesting, friendly people, made some good friends and hope to see most of them again at some point. So traveling more is what we will do and end up who knows where, but will keep y'all posted.

       So after this day of unplanning and rearranging we had a nice spaghetti supper, then relaxed abit ready to hit the road in the morning. Maybe we will meet up on the road somewhere, be it an RV resort, travel plaza, rest area, Walmart parking lot, or even out in the desert somewhere.
