Join us as we travel North America in our Holiday Rambler Vacationer,
They joined for many reasons, to march, to sail, to fly; they went where they were posted but nobody joins to die. Their leaders talk on TV; what else could we have done? But those leaders lost no daughters and none has lost a son. So heres to all our soldiers wherever they may be and heres to all their families, I raise my glass to thee Thank you.

Again a nice bright sunny day, computing, coffee a walkabout and Remembrance Day services on TV. Now we had received our free replacement dome for our fantastic fan roof vent and this will be today's project, replace it before it gets too hot. So up on the roof remove the cover and replace with the new dome, 4 screws and some caulking too easy. Now with the new dome the rest of the fan is looking pretty dirty so I researched on the internet to find an easy way to clean it. And there it was an almost invisible set screw to loosen and the fan blades can be removed. Wow so easy to clean and make looking like new, its nice to get the right instructions.

After a bite to eat a I went for a nice scenic drive into Benson for a few items. One thing I enjoy in the grocery stores here is all your food stuffs and a huge selection of wine, beer and spirits. Before the groceries I checked the beer area and found one mentioned (
Fat Tire) by Larry quite a while ago, and thought I would try it, very tasty!!!

Then looking for a small bottle of Gin I found a 750 ml bottle for $9.99 but beside it was a 1500 ml bottle for $10.99 and of course could not turn down a bargain twice as much for $1.00 more. Martinis anyone!!

Well now with these projects out of the way, back home to enjoy the sunshine and a good book. After a while I got the BBQ out for some baked potatoes, juicy pork chops and broccoli with a sprinkle of shredded cheese for a delicious supper. Then read a bit more and a tv show.

I was checking the Blog of a couple we met in Mexico last year and they are truly in Paradise (Stone Island). This is water front property at its best. Their coach is parked overlooking an amazing sandy beach, temperatures 30+ c (90f) sunshine, blue skies, bluer water, sand in their bed, their feet in the water, amazing sunsets AND a Pacifico (beer truck) stuck on the beach right in front of them. Now how convenient is that!! Lets hope the tractor can't unstuck him.
