Join us as we travel North America in our Holiday Rambler Vacationer,
 since August 2006

Good morning what a wonderful day! Blue skies, sunrise and warming up . Coffee, and computing and a walkabout in the fresh morning air by the pond revealing a beautiful mirror reflection  adding to a peaceful morning.
Nice Reflection
Outside enjoying the fresh air I got some more exercise polishing a bit more of our coach and chatting with a neighbour from Winnipeg that has two cats prowling the campground keeping it free from desert critters that may invade our coaches.

After a while Suzie and I went to Benson to a couple of Book stores to exchange some books and stock up our library. I dropped her off and went to Safeway for a few groceries and could not resist purchasing a nice rotisserie chicken for only $5.00, that will take care of supper later. At the edge of the parking lot was was a large 4 wheel drive vehicle and on looking closer I figured it to be an impressive camper that could surely travel the Arizona back country, or just about any back country. Check out this website for more of this type of rv. Unicat

Now with a new supply of reading material and food we made our way back thru the windy desert (oh I forgot to tell you it was windy today), watching for the huge tumble weeds tumbling across the hiway. No sense trying to dodge them they appear so quickly about two to three feet high. When you hit one with the car it just goes poof and disintegrates into dust and no damage to our car.

Back home a bite to eat for lunch then I went for a swim in the very warm pool again and soak in the hot tub for a while. Then wander about the campground I spotted this cool looking shed at the back of a campsite.

Even thou it was windy it was still warm enough to sit out and read for a while in the afternoon sun. After things begin to cool down, we are inside for supper with our yummy rotisserie chicken (swiss chalet sauce), boiled red potatoes and peas for supper. And of course lotsa leftover chicken for lunches.

Relaxin and chatting then watch the moon rising over the hill behind us, a full moon tonight.

  1. Probably was a European camper, often from Germany. Did you check the plates? They are built like tanks!
