      Once again a cool night (good for sleeping) then the sunrises to yet another clear blue sky. Coffees and a walkabout the resort checking out some of the nice scenery, that someone had time to set up.

      A bit later this morning into Benson to refill our water jug with purified water, A good price here $1.00 for 5 gallons (18 liters) . I checked out a few of the local businesses, got our supplies then back home for lunch and putter about a bit. After this was time to put on my suit and go for a swim in the beautifully heated pool and soak in a very hot, hot tub. Then chat with some neighbours and relax in the sun with a good book for a while. After this I fired up the barbie and cooked up some nice garlic sausage served with creamy garlic mashed potatoes and sauerkraut for a tasty supper.

      You really now that you are in the desert just because of the climate if nothing else. The very dry air, hot afternoon sun and not a cloud in the sky. But when the sun starts to go down things cool down real quick, at 4:00 pm in was 80f (26c) then by 6:00 pm 40f (5c), but a very dry cold so is it does not seem so bad. Great for staying in after supper with a good book and maybe a tv show for a bit.
