Cooled down last night and the humidity is much less. A great sleep we both had. A cooler morning for a walkabout , nice and refreshing and so quiet here. Walked most of the campground after coffees and computing. About 1.5 miles.this be the place |

Then about 3 pm we secured the coach and head to the Hall for the wedding at 5 pm. And DARN as we pulled out our electric step broke AGAIN! This is the 4th time. same part always breaks But I do have a spare, just no time to fix it today, don't want to get all greasy. Bungee cord will secure it for travel and wooden blocks to keep it open. We are settled in for the night, change into our fancy Duds, and get ready to celebrate with the wedding of Kim and Scott a wonderful young couple we have known for years.
This was my only posting for today, not gonna happen later tonight and in the morning we will be making tracks back across the border, To get things ready to move into a cabin on Monday after we drop our coach at the body shop to fix the accident damage and look new again!.
Thanks for dropping by and hope you had a wonderful day as well.

Darn stairs! At least you have the part. Have fun at the wedding tonight. Rock and Roll!
ReplyDeleteYes the stairs are nice when they workout a nuisance to keep fixing, mind you they do get a lot of use.
DeleteFun? Yup we sure did !
Finally got caught up on all of your posts. My but you do keep busy. Hope the wedding went well. Looking forward to seeing you dressed up.
ReplyDeleteHaving a relaxing Sunday here in France.
Thanks for catching up. You have been busy doing a lot of travelling, A day of rest is good for you.
DeleteI just completely rebuilt my steps - will do a blog post some day about it... sure is nice when they work!
ReplyDeleteThere is no problem with our steps except this one part keeps breaking in the same place, frustrating when it does break.
DeleteMaybe the body shop has some ideas about the steps. It shouldn't keep breaking parts!! Have fun at the wedding!!
ReplyDeleteI will check with them see what they say,but it is a poorly designed part I believe and the coach is 20 years old.
DeleteFun yup we had fun.
I don't understand the need for cottonwood trees, they are disgusting. Have a fun filled wedding and soon you'll have the stairs fixed.
ReplyDeleteThey are disgusting for sure.
DeleteWe had too much fun at the wedding and the stairs are fixed.
I hate it when stuff keeps breaking over and over again. I know it's not because you're overweight, you eat like a bird! :cD
ReplyDeleteThat electric step gets a lot of use and things do wear out, If man made it , it will break. No I am not overweight anymore. Sure makes me feel great again.
DeleteI also hate stuff that keeps breaking over and over but it keeps you busy!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you had fun at the wedding.
I Usually have the time to do repairs, and they can be expected on a 20 year old RV.
DeleteLots fun and dancing we did.
Glad you have the part for the steps...hope this next fix will do it for good! Looks like a nice campground you are in!!
ReplyDeleteGlad I had it too, Hopefully this will last while.. It is a very nice campground.
