Saturday Hockey practices.

Where are we today ?
Saturday again yippee! This morning two grandsons here had 3  hockey practices. Grandson Number 4 has one at 10 am , his next at 11 am ( he is playing on 2 teams. Then Grandson Number 1 a practice at 12 noon. Getting ready for the Tournaments next week (March Break ).
number 4 at 10 am and 11 am
number 1 at 12 noon
Practices were good and fun to spend the 3 hours with one grandson at a time and hang out in the arena.
Back here to New Hamburg around 1:30, Suzie gone with her Dad, I picked up a few groceries, then got 2 miles walking done at the indoor track. Chillier than I like outside with a cool breeze and no sunshine.
Back here in time to whip up supper, tonight couple pork chops on our Weber Q and grilled red peppers. Nice to leave the garage door open but still a cool breeze. Of course added a tasty green salad really hit the spot.
grilling our chops is perfect
A lovely dinner just the 2 if us as usual and enjoying our time together, pretty rare these days.
Thats was our wonderful day at least not nearly as cold as it has been, Thanks for stopping by.
Check out the interactive map below to see where we have been this past Winter.

  2. Well there might be a cool breeze blowing but those snow drifts on either side of the driveway definitely are smaller.

  3. Just love seeing the snow in the background, and you cooking on the grill. Something just seems wrong with that picture...heheh

    1. May not be the ideal weather, but I used to BBQ in the winter when we lived here full time.
Just love the taste of grilled food, always seems so much better.

  4. It seems like you almost need a personal calendar to keep all the game days straight. Bet they love having grandpa there to support and cheer them on.

    1. Pretty much, but then the game times change frequently too, so e mail and text messages work very well too.
