Where are we today ?
What did we do today? Not too much. Nothing broken, nothing to fix and nowhere to go, so lets take advantage of it. Did not feel like washing and waxing our coach, did not feel like the gym or even a swim and soak in the hot tub. So did what we felt like nuttin.
Between walkabouts chatting with people we have not seen for a long time and meeting new people too. Chatted with Wray and Liz Taylor and met their friends. A dairy farmer with a first year camping and new 5th wheel trailer. And they happen to know Suzie's brother and sister in law as well as Suzie's sister, small world it is!
Ron came by with Freddie and Suzie got her doggie fix |
most of the roads and in front of our coach |
nice park model backing onto the pond |
Also spotted this cool looking quadcycle car at Melinda and Gerrie's place.
nice |
Tonight a couple homemade turkey burgers, and grilled some fresh mushrooms and onions on my seasoned cast iron grill, added some cheese and a green salad, did the trick.
yep did the trick |

Sounds like a good day to me. Nothing broken and nothing to fix. Sounds like it was a good day for you too. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteIt was a real great day.
DeleteI'm looking forward to those do nothing days soon too I hope.
ReplyDeleteBe Safe and Enjoy!
It's about time.
Nice to take it easy, we are retired.
Delete"Doing nothing" is a great way to spend the day. I'm looking forward to one of those.
ReplyDeleteThey can be a lot of fun ya know.
DeleteNeat idea doing the mushrooms that way.
ReplyDeleteWorks pretty good. no oil needed either.
DeletePerfect day once in a while! :)
ReplyDeleteWe like to enjoy a lot of those when we can.
DeleteLooks like a fine place to hang around for a while and do nothing when you feel like it.
ReplyDeleteIt is an awesome place, our home park for (R.O.D.) Resorts of Distinction. Love it here.
DeleteI would have never thought to do mushrooms and onions on the grill. Thanks for the tip.
ReplyDeleteI like to cook as much as possible on the grill, makes things much easier.
DeleteI love these do nothing days, George. A leisurely breakfast, read and check out what's on the PVR. These days recharge the batteries!
ReplyDeleteRecharging is great for the mind, body and soul, not much tv for us, good books are the top of our list.
DeleteSounds like it was a perfect southern Ontario day. Doing nothing is OK too! No repairs makes for an even better day.
ReplyDeleteYes it was wonderful, great weather, great company and no repairs = perfect!
DeleteNice to be able to kick back and do nothing. Hope you didn't wear yourselves out... ;c)
ReplyDeleteNope it sure was a very nice day! And not tired out either.
DeleteWhat a lovely spot you two are in. Glad you are enjoying the good life!
ReplyDeleteNothing quite like the good life.
