Where are we today ?
Rock Glen Resort Arkona Ontario
Very nice, sunny, warm morning. Love it, close to 70 f (21c) at 6 am. Got my computing, coffees and walkabout done, chat with the guys at the garage then home by 8:30 to begin installing our new kitchen faucet. Pretty easy, just needed to run to the Home Hardware in town and Len fixed me up with an adapter fitting to make it all go together, than install the faucet. Took longer to empty the cupboards, get the fitting and put it all together. Looks and works much better now.old one on the left |
looks and works better, a Moen is the best as far as I am concerned |
wound up the extension cord, put away at house and the rains began again |
very heavy rain though the pic does not show it |
soon the skies cleared and the sun was shinning. |
kinda muddy from our coach |
a little crooked but we don't mind. |
notice, product of Canada, not China |
Added that to some lettuce, kale, pasta salad, coleslaw, beans and a few strawberries.
sure hit the spot |
very heavy rain |
It was a productive, fun day being on the road again, with challenging weather, even if not too far.
So that was it for us looking forward to just hanging out here for a while taking it easy. Work out in the gym, swim in the pool, soak in the hot tub and enjoy our books. Of course our favorite Fleamarket on Sunday too. Might just wash and wax our coach too, if the spirit moves me.
Thanks for joining us today.

You do have some good looking meals.
ReplyDeleteThanks, they taste pretty good too.
DeleteIf you wash and wax the coach you'll bring more rain.
ReplyDeleteNice job on the faucet.
Thanks, it can rain all it wants as long we aren't on the road to get it dirty again.
DeleteI certainly hope you have everything fixed in your coach that needs fixing. It's about time you took a break from repairs.
ReplyDeleteI have all the repairs done right now, until the next time.
DeleteNice fix in your kitchen! Best thing to do is let the rig sit and have the ground dry up...you will get out.
ReplyDeleteWE will sit here for about two weeks, will be fine then.
DeletePoor thing, what a tough life you live!
ReplyDeleteYes we love this tough life.
DeleteI agree Moen is the best, that was what we switched to when our original tap did the same as yours.
ReplyDeleteI always put Moen's in my various houses over the years, no problems after that.
DeleteAs I get older, it gets harder to squeeze in under the sink to do those jobs.
ReplyDeleteIt is a little harder to get down there, but still doable.
DeleteNice job on the taps, they look great! Yesterday was a craaazzzy day for sure! Rain, sun, storm, clearing, downpour etc etc etc. Today a bit cooler but I'll be inside all day so it doesn't affect me. Nice to see you settled at R.G. again, see you soon!
ReplyDeleteWill be nice to see you guys again, travel safe.
DeleteI really like your third shot, even in the rain. It's no wonder you guys stay thin and healthy eating all that fish and healthy sides - at least most of the time.
ReplyDeleteThe third shot was at what we call "Camp Awesome" a friends place we stay at in Plattsville.
DeleteThe healthy eating "most of the time" works, especially when I make it myself.
Need to take care of ourselves, nobody else will.
