Where are we today ?
A nice quiet night at "Camp Pettigrew" and first thing this morning Dale was finishing up with our coach. Torqued the wheels, and bled the brakes, then hooked up his code reader to check the engine light on our coach. Checking a few things established that a vacuum line had collapsed and need to be replaced. So that part is on order will get that done next time we are back here.He also did some more checking on our generator problem, could be the fuel line from the tank to the fuel pump. If I pressurize the gas tank with my air compressor we get fuel to the pump and genny starts up and keeps running, no problem. Let it sit for a day or two and no fuel to the pump. Could be the fuel line to the gas tank, but the way it was installed is really not accessible in a big way. There is a rubber hose, then a metal gas line then another rubber gas line that looks like it goes into the top of the tank, out of sight. Need to do more research. To remove the fuel tank, looks like we need to remove the rear levelling jacks?
Well enough of the coach repairs for a while, lets get the coach back to "camp awesome" and finish mowing the lawn. Move the two blocks back and its raining as I set up. Hmmm... Ok got wet but its a warm rain, needed a shower anyway.
Not wanting to mow the lawn in the rain I whipped up another batch of my pasta (macaroni) salad. When this was done the rain stopped so hopped in the mower and was able to finish the last three acres here. Got rained out yesterday too.

All your days are busy but you certainly seem to be enjoying it that way even when things get rough.
ReplyDeleteEveryday is good, they can always be worse , ya' know.
DeleteSounds like Ma had a great birthday feast. I love the Canadian ice cream. What a cute idea.
ReplyDeleteYeah I thought it was kinda neat too, tasty as well.
DeleteWhat's Canadian ice cream? sure looks gooood! That really is a good price for all that food... Happy Birthday to your Ma... ;)
ReplyDeleteYour generator has been problematic for a bit now but it seems as though the trouble shooting could lead to a solution soon. Good luck with that. The mower seems to work well, however....!
ReplyDeleteThats what we are hoping, but could be a very expensive fix?
DeleteWith you talent for cooking, I'm surprised you bought a store bought dinner.
ReplyDeleteWe ran out of time today and wanted to treat mother with a nice meal, I made the pasta salad though.
