Where are we today ?
Another fun day here at Rock Glen Resort. Lotsa walkabouts and spotting the Goose Puppies (thanks Billy Bob) again up by the ponds. Up close and personal, and boy they sure growing 4 adults and 10 BIG babies.
Then the road crews started again, more entertainment watching how they do an amazing fast job of putting the tar and chips on the roads here in the campground. Huge improvement.
We got to read a while in the shade even got to the amazing gym we have here at the resort, had a nice 30 minute workout on the machines.
Then a visit with Ron, Loree and Freddie, she is recovering very nicely from her knee replacement.
Now back home to fire up our Weber Q to make a tasty meatloaf with ground turkey along with an acorn squash and tossed salad for supper.
Then just as we finished supper new friends (blog followers and fellow Bloggers) Bill, Pat and their puppy Clemson dropped by for a nice visit and a wonderful anniversary card. You can check out Pats Blog HERE. We chatted and chatted and before we know it getting dark. Time to call it a night. Thanks for the card and lovely visit guys, see ya Saturday.

ReplyDeleteThat's what Billy Bob calls the babies and I thought it was pretty catchy and describes them perfectly.
DeleteSocializing is a large part of RV'ing and you two sure get to meet a lot of folks.
ReplyDeleteBeing fulltime sure do meet a lot of friendly people out here.
DeleteI think I like "Clemson" as a dog's name.
ReplyDeleteIt is a pretty catchy name.
DeleteTo Bob, Clemson name came about when we visited a friend in Clemson South Carolina, we didn't have him yet but were soon getting him. We thought it would be the perfect name for him.
ReplyDeleteIt is a nice name and different.
DeleteGreat chatting with you guys last night again..
Meatloaf on a grill....who would of thought.
ReplyDeleteCan do just about anything on our Weber Q
DeleteI did meatloaf in the smoker a few weeks back. I had a drip pan under it but it sure was good. Next, I'll do it in the BBQ too.
ReplyDeleteThe smoker sounds awesome too, don't have one though.
DeleteGreat looking meatloaf - another one of my favourite meals! Looks like my trivet setup.
ReplyDeleteThe trivet is cheap and does the trick.
