Fri. Dec. 30 Just more Awesome weather...

Join us as we travel North America in our Holiday Rambler Vacationer,
 since August 2006

 Where are we Today ?

Well the weather has been getting constantly hotter everyday 78f (25c) before noon and just a perfect day, no wind and blue skies. Walkabouts the resort today I observed the different trees and many varieties of cactus, a few of them labelled. And I would like to share them with you.

Now this picture below is not a cactus , just a friendly neighbors dog Keisha that came to visit Suzie. We chatted with her owners for a while and a few other neighbors as well. Puttering around a bit enjoying our books in the shade then a refreshing dip in the pool and a soak in the awesome hot tub.

This one below is a tumbleweed (don't think its a cactus) that just appeared in the site across from us, interesting. We see these blowing across the highways and if you hit one with your vehicle they usually explode into a cloud of dust.
Not sure where the time goes but soon it was time to fire up the grill again for some tasty pickerel fillets we still had vacuum sealed in our freezer from Ontario, accompanied by a rice pilaf and tossed salad.
So the perfect weather is good and getting more perfect (thats kinda like more betterer !) Ok so its just going to be sunny and warmer for the net few days, I think we can wind down the year and begin a new one on that note.

  1. I've joined your site. You're site is exeptional, I love it. Denis likes the countdown at the bottom. Can I get one? Also, how do you make that list on the side of places you've been & the number of times you've been there? Your food plates look yummy!!!

Thanks for joining us, you can enjoy Arizona with us and we will enjoy Florida with you, and maybe meet again soon in our travels. I sent you an email on how to set those things up hope it helps.

We like to eat (need to eat) and I enjoy cooking so may as well try to make them look good, I think they taste better that way.

  3. Yep, your plant labelling is as good as Kevin's with the birds. If it doesn't have a label then it just doesn't have a name.

    Happy New Year's!!!

  5. I think that tree with no bark is a type of Eucalyptus. Does it have a wonderful smell to it? Pity we can't see the top of the Mexican Fan Palm. They were the favourite palms that I had in my garden in South Africa. We love the photo of your evening meal every day.

Happy New Year to you both, and may 2012 be just as adventurous.
