Where are we Today ?
large tree with no bark |
Now this picture below is not a cactus , just a friendly neighbors dog Keisha that came to visit Suzie. We chatted with her owners for a while and a few other neighbors as well. Puttering around a bit enjoying our books in the shade then a refreshing dip in the pool and a soak in the awesome hot tub.

Not sure where the time goes but soon it was time to fire up the grill again for some tasty pickerel fillets we still had vacuum sealed in our freezer from Ontario, accompanied by a rice pilaf and tossed salad.
So the perfect weather is good and getting more perfect (thats kinda like more betterer !) Ok so its just going to be sunny and warmer for the net few days, I think we can wind down the year and begin a new one on that note.

I've joined your site. You're site is exeptional, I love it. Denis likes the countdown at the bottom. Can I get one? Also, how do you make that list on the side of places you've been & the number of times you've been there? Your food plates look yummy!!!
ReplyDeleteDennis and Sandy:
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining us, you can enjoy Arizona with us and we will enjoy Florida with you, and maybe meet again soon in our travels. I sent you an email on how to set those things up hope it helps.
We like to eat (need to eat) and I enjoy cooking so may as well try to make them look good, I think they taste better that way.
Yep, your plant labelling is as good as Kevin's with the birds. If it doesn't have a label then it just doesn't have a name.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year's!!!

Kevin and Ruth:
ReplyDeleteYes for sure I like the labels.
I think that tree with no bark is a type of Eucalyptus. Does it have a wonderful smell to it? Pity we can't see the top of the Mexican Fan Palm. They were the favourite palms that I had in my garden in South Africa. We love the photo of your evening meal every day.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you both, and may 2012 be just as adventurous.
Michael and Dee:
ReplyDeleteI'll see if I can get a picture of the top of the Palm.
You guys have a good New Year as well!
What a great day, including a swim and a soak !!
ReplyDeleteHope the great weather continues...
