Where are we Today ?
On one of these walkabout just after lunch we stopped by for a visit with Jim and Mildred when we spotted their rig and they were home. Sure is a small world, first time we met them was in Branson Missouri a few years ago, them Pilot Knob California last year now here. They are from Ontario and live about 4 miles from our home address at the farm. We have never run into them in at home thou.
We chatted for a while comparing travels and Suzie got her dog fix, then we carried on our walk returning back home.
Now home we have new neighbors trying to back their 5th wheel into the site. I tried to guide this woman to line up with the patio but admitted she always has a problem backing into sites. Then she asked me to do it for her, so there I got volunteered. Well I have never backed up a large 5th wheel before, only our little pop up trailer. But its actually easier than a small trailer, I got it right where she wanted it with Suzie guiding me. We chatted with our new neighbors for a while, then let them set up while we enjoyed our books in the warm afternoon sun.
As the sun disappeared behind a tree it was close to 5 o'clock anyway the cool air arrived so inside to whip up supper. Tonight Suzie's meal of choice is Coconut Shrimp, with a sweet chili sauce (Contessa: these were prepared shrimp I just had to cook in the oven) and a rice pilaf, so tasty!

No problem, you have more important things to worry about.
love your blog...love your pictures..but Suzie Rick and I think you need a 'pupper'....then you wouldn't have to be out looking for a fix :)....hear that Santa? Suzie needs a puppy....travel safe tomorrow and have a wonderful Christmas!!!
ReplyDeleteElaine and Rick:
ReplyDeleteWe have discussed 'pupper" a few times but she still gets by with the "fix:" much cheaper....and not tied down.
