Another wonderful fall day, Turkey purchase for Thanksgiving and our last day here this year.

      Another night not so good of a sleep. Thinking my stomach muscles are still acting up and or my back is out.  So no breakfast and a slice of apple for lunch, Then a trip to Forest to pick up our Thanksgiving Turkey  on sale 7KG (15 lbs) for $22.00, Made room in our fridge to let it thaw for a few days.
    Back home a long hot shower then some of my Orthogell advanced pain relief I get from my Chiropractor, 2 advil and I start to feel relief almost right away. I will apply it again tonight before I go to bed again. Going to see my Chiropractor Wednesday morning anyway for a tune up.
    Now to check tires and oil before we leave in the morning heading to Suzie's sister Rose and BIL Ross in Tavistock, handy spot for a few more appointments and family get togethers. I then emptied our sewage tanks stored the hoses and put our Weber Q away. Also topped top the water in out coach batteries as well.
      Now I can relax outside in the warm afternoon sunshine beside us. Enjoy our e-readers for a while.

       Shortly after 3 pm our neighbour Mark joined us for Happy hour and then Tucker dragged Gerry over to join us. Our last one with these guys until the spring.

        Then a bit later Linda drops by with here puppies today to say Hi and goodbye for now.

      Time to head inside, supper tonight a nice easy meal hopefully good for my tummy and so far so good. A grilled cheese and tomato soup, An old stand by we have not had for years.

     After supper outside  for a bit finishing this posting and read for a bit. Loree and Freddie stopped by to say goodbye, see you guys in the spring.

our last night here this year

         About 7:30 pm we headed inside, cold down to 54F. relax for a but watch a show on tv and call it a night. Hopefully a better sleep tonight. Just inside a lock on the door Paul ad Judy came by to say see ya later and in the spring, as they know we leave too early in the morning for them

       Another great sleep . Having stayed awake until 10 pm last night because I was outside until 9 Pm enjoy the warm air and more of a wonderful sunset. I actually slept until 5:30 this morning, ah thats better but seems like a later start to my day, lol...
     Got a nice morning walkabout , and what is going to be another wonderful day.

       Finally at 9:30 Suzie had the laundry sorted so I took it into Wapa the nice new laundry they opened last year., or was it the year before? All wonderful front loading new machines, and completely redone. This place is spotless. The friendly lady there so helpful with this card system, I have chatted with her over the years. She has been working here for 9 years now. Probably as long as we have been coming here.

          Laundry done and folded I was home in an hour by 10:30. Suzie put it all away. Then we had already decided to go for lunch our last day here. And the place we enjoy is the Lucky Steer, in particular their broasted chicken one of our favourite meals. They have a very extensive menu, but we need our broasted chicken fix, lol. They had All you can eat Fish and salad bar today, but we were here for the chicken. On Fridays they have all you can eat chicken and fish for less than 10 bucks , we had that last year, was excllent.

     So we ordered the 3 piece chicken with fries and a side salad. what an excellent side salad , almost a meal1

3 pieces of chicken each and a fresh baked biscuit for me,
we know it was cooked to order chicken takes 20 minutes 
very hot, oh my so good !

         We enjoyed every bite but could not finish it, no problem left over chicken and buns is wonderful for tomorrows lunch. And all this food for less than 20 bucks. Worth it for a nice tasty treat . Our last day here. Bo supper tonight thats for sure, ws our pan anyway.
         One of the nice things about this campground is we are less than 2 miles from most everything in Wapa, other then the old town. Back home by 12:30 dropped Dsuzie off, now I can head back over I-75 and pick up a few last minute groceries without dragging Suzie along, she hates shopping.

        Now back home once again. to put out Weber Q away, check our tires and oil on the coach, have a nice long hot shower, dump and flush our sewage then top up our fresh water tank that we will need back home.
      Even lotsa time to relax outside enjoying our page turners, beside an afternoon campfire on a wonderful 68f sunny spring afternoon. Some one had left some nice firewood here and was a perfect day to use it up. First campfire this spring.

        The we hooked up our car having a nice pull through site so we don't have to do it in the predicted cold weather tomorrow morning. Just need to unplug power and away we go .

        Ok we had a wonderful last day here, getting things done, enjoying the weather, a tasty, lunch, a campfire, even a happy hour for the 2 of us. Enjoying our page turners still outside at 7pm and 70 F here on our patio . I want to wrap up this posting and cheat with a late night sunset photo I took after last nights posting. Probably close to that again tonight. So I can get right back into my book.

Only about 300 miles or so tomorrow and a boarder crossing, back to new Hamburg for a couple of weeks, is our plan, but ya know things can  change.

      Another interesting sunrise to begin yet another warm day. A nice walkabout on a mild morning, then at 9 am Suzie had the laundry sorted so I took it to the laundry mat here in the park. Now have my shorts on to enjoy this nice warm weather.

         Laundry folded and home by 10:30 Suzie put it away, time for a light tasty lunch and before noon a wonderful 75 F . yup this is the spring weather we have been patiently waiting for.

     Then a bit later checked our tire  pressures, stored our Weber Q. topped up our fresh water and drained our sewage tanks, ready to hit the road in the morning. Been here 2 weeks got the hitch itch again so moving slowly down the road in search of more warm weather and sunshine. Gotta be home in 43 days and don't want to rush.
    Enjoying some afternoon reading in the shade with only a slight breeze was perfect.

     An afternoon drive and did find some desert wildflowers around the area.

      Back home to enjoy our page turners for a while no intense sun but still comfortable at 78 F. In the shade.

          Shortly after 3 pm Ron joined us for Happy Hour, with a NEW CHAIR, they went shopping at Walmart to today for a replacement,. a nice reclining chair for about 15 bucks.

     We flapped out gums for a while , exchanged tips and information as we always do. then soon time to whip up supper.
      Tonight a nice treat some muscles  in Tomato Garlic butter sauce . A quick and easy meal to add to our salad.

       No visible sunset tonight so no picture. Posting this blog outside at 6:45 pm still 67F and no wind. not too shabby at all.
       But this is done we enjoyed a wonderful day. Gonna call it a night and head inside to watch the tube for  a bit and call it a night.
       In the morning we heading on down the road, to enjoy another wonderful desert spot we enjoy.
