This be a mostly Black and White day, but the weather was wonderful anyway.

Where are we today ?
clic a pic to enlarge it
somehow I inadvertently changed a setting on my camera and
most of my pics came out Black and white
just like the old days
Just more great weather we are still enjoying this trip it has been working out wonderful so far with amazing weather. Overnight was nice and warm windows open and comfy for sleeping At 5 am 48 f outside and then the sun came up eventually was quite comfortable. Did get a few nice walkabouts enjoying the peace and quiet here now that spring break is over and the campground now mostly empty.
this be the campground map
a black and white sunrise,
not quite the same
I after a quick trip to Brookshires Grocery to pick up a chicken for supper tonight, on sale for .79 cents a  pound, wanted a chicken anyway and can't turn down that deal whenever we see it.
Back home for another nice walkabout down by the creek, enjoying the views and peace and quiet.
love walking these trails here
small rapids so soothing
a nice spot to relax and enjoy the river
a bit further a bridge across the creek
spotted this bird Egret maybe?
loved watching him/her
Back home after lunch and I got a load of laundry done, Suzie cleaned our coach inside to like new again then we enjoyed our e-readers outside on this wonderful sunny day. Did get to 75F perfect with a refreshing north breeze that we could mostly avoid .
and we had company , think he was looking for handouts
lots of open space now, most of our neighbours gone, perfect !
Soon time to fire up our Weber Q will take a while, smallest they had at 5.5 pounds but only $4.60. Now to just sit outside here smelling it cooking and enjoying our page turners, yup this is the life style we enjoy.
now  done to perfection once again
Finally figured it out changed my camera settings just as we were serving up the chicken with our tasty salad.
this sure hit the spot and lotsa leftovers, and soon another pot of soup
right after supper did manage a sunset right behind us
through the trees
No complaints here just enjoying more sunshine, warm weather tasty supper, reading and getting few things taken care of as well.
Thank y'all for stopping on by and hope you had an awesome day as well.

  1. An Ansel Adams day? Nothing wrong with black'n'white day, adds some contrast to your warm sunny (I'm so jealous) days.

    1. Not quite Ansel Adams quality, but does remind me of my days back in the '60s with all the black & white pictures I took with my big camera and developing, printing and enlarging photos in my home darkroom, they sure give you a different perspective. Not matter though it was another beautiful warm sunny day.

  3. Glad you got your color back before you had to eat bland food.

You've had perfect weather while the rest of us are either getting blown away or freezing to death. You're living a charmed life George. Enjoy.

    1. Th B&W shots are kinds cool thou, but the food does look much more appetizing in color.
We have been pretty good this year at finding decent weather, we like to stay further south and lower elevations we usually have pretty good luck with that.

I think the little spot you've chosen is a nice one, we may have to try that area another time. Those are certainly pretty warm temperatures.
