Gonna be a hot day so got a few nice early walkabouts before it gets too warm, Then at 9 am over help Dianne and Don with their Shaw satellite dish. No problem there all done in less than 30 minutes , works good and they happy. Now home to whip up a double batch of sausage rolls with puff pastry, that we are taking to the Stere family reunion tomorrow in Tavistock. Suzie's Family. It is pot luck at 1 pm this day every year. I only did 6 dozen of these, there is so much food no one will go hungry. Usually around 200 people there so no problem . Soon time for our Weber Q to grill a fresh Turkey Breast, gonna try it on our grill mat and seems to work wonderful leaves grill marks and will help to keep our grill clean. Think I will try it on a few more meals to see how it performs.

Where have we been this summer ?
Sausage rolls look fun and easy, bet they'll go fast. You have a new signature hat!, don't change it :)
ReplyDeleteThe sausage rolls will go fast, hope we can get some.
DeleteHello from Idaho and stop in from Charley. Gee those hot dogs we had them in school but I don't recall what they were called.
ReplyDeleteIf you fine the time stop in for cup of coffee
Thanks Dora will drop by.
DeleteSome people call them "pigs in a blanket".
Sausage and puff pastry sounds pretty good. I am thinking they would be good for a brunch. Will have to keep those in mind next time I have everyone here. The best part they can be made ahead. Sounds like you two had a warm and relaxing day...a nice way to spend any day.
ReplyDeleteThese are perfect to a brunch, a nice finger food. And yes you can make them ahead.
DeleteWe like to have as many warm relaxing days as possible. Serve them cold or warmed up
George - What do you do to keep the fiberglass and decals on your HR looking so nice? The decals on our 2003 are starting to flake off. Any ideas would be appreciated.
ReplyDeleteI wax the coach a couple of times a year with Meguier's liquid and use Protect All on the decals every month or so both have UV protectors, our coach is a 1999 and still in pretty good shape. Hope that helps if they are not too far gone.
DeleteWow those sausage rolls looked delicious! Wish I was related... ;c)
ReplyDeleteThey are very tasty, all 72 gone in no time flat, maybe some day if we meet up.
