GPS co-ordinates. 33.619 - 114.207   Thanks to Toni at Palamine who has  GPS
Look for this sign by the restroom 1/2 mile in, we off to the left
Directions check the previous  post ing HERE ,
Warm sunny and another desert day , what's not to love about this? Got a few miles walking done this morning and even Suzie joined me for about a mile as well. Love this weather when I can wear shorts almost all day.
Now this is the first time in years that I git my wood carving stuff out. I have a few projects on the go. What a great way to enjoy the wonderful weather, relaxing in the sun and shade.
A few things on the go, couple are finished
While enjoying the afternoon outside this white  jeep pulled in, someone we have never met yet . It was Rod. of Retired Rod blogger. A blogger I have followed off and on for years. He found us here at La Posa south and will return on Saturday for Bloggerfest. Was so nice to finally meet him one on one. Something that will be hard to do on Saturday with so many people here.
Shortly after he left Jean and Skip stopped by. So nice to see them again 2nd time this winter.
Then about 2:45 over to John and Barb's for happy hour with  Toni and Doug. Lively conversation swapping stories, flapping gums etc.. Then home shortly after 4 o'clock to whip up supper.
another doggie fix for Suzie
Hank and Piper just love her.

Supper tonight was my easy version of chicken cacciatore.  On a bed of brown rice that we got as free samples in the Big tent, One Minute in the microwave and done. Love free !
Stir fried a cut up boneless skinless chicken breast in our cast iron pan on the Weber Q. with some fresh mushrooms. onions, parmesan cheese, mozzarella  and garlic. Added a can of diced tomatoes and spices simmered for a while until reduced spooned over the rice and a salad on the side.
Easy quick and so  tasty
nice desrt sunset and call it a night
Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to stop on by for Bloggerfest here on Saturday afternoon 1pm till 4 pm.

  7. Your carving looks like a good hobby for those lazy days in the desert. Supper looks good and we are getting our fill of rice here in Cajun country.
