Where are we today ?
I know, I know ya'll getting tired of hearing about our great weather. But that's just the way it is and why we are living this lifestyle. I'm just telling it like it is. We don't get tired of it and will enjoy every minute of it.
Just started the early morning with coffees, computing and walkabouts when the sun comes up, making a plan for the day. The plan is, we have no plan, nothing we want to see or do in the area so think we will hang out. What's the hurry after all this is our house and we have nice scenery here.

another pond with a nice house there |
Before it got too hot I puttered around, waxed the car and just enjoyed the great weather. Shortly after noon it was 90f (32c) as you can see below.
By this time open the awning for some shade and enjoy our books for a while between walkabouts and chatting with a few new neighbors.
yep its a tough life |
beautiful blue cloudless skies again |
In the freezer I found a porterhouse steak (bought it on sale), then decided to try my hand at twice baked potatoes, (onions, cheese, bacon, cream cheese, sour cream, butter) and wow they were terrific (no calories at all,, lol), some fresh mushrooms with onions & green peppers then some broccoli just because we do need our veggies. Got the oven doing the potatoes and the Weber grilling the steak, we sure had a feast.
tasty indulgence |
Thanks once again for stopping by.

Overall we've had some pretty great weather. In fact, we're even thinking about extending just so we don't have to go farther north until it warms up.
ReplyDeleteNice to have those temps!!! As you know I like rv parks on the water, any water....that place is a keeper.
ReplyDeleteWanderin':
ReplyDeleteYes sounds good wish we could do that too.
Contessa:
Yes a very nice place and quiet as well.
Now that we've left sunny Palm Springs and are traveling through rainy Oregon, I can really appreciate good weather!
ReplyDeleteRick:
ReplyDeleteWe have great weather all winter and get pretty spoiled, only takes a day or two to really miss it and want it back again.
Wow, love the photo of your place across the pond! Really nice!
ReplyDeleteLou:
ReplyDeleteYep sure is a nice place.
The forecast for Regina tonight is rain, then freezing rain, then snow ... up to 2 inches !!
ReplyDeleteWe know exactly what you mean when you said you really miss the warm temps after only a few days .. lol.
Take care and enjoy !!
TnT:
ReplyDeleteKeep warm!
Everything was great up until the mention of the "skeeters".
ReplyDeleteI sure don't miss them.
No "West Nile" in those parts? I had hoped that mosquitoes had been all eradicated by the time we move back home.
Guess that was wishful thinking.
Bob:
ReplyDeleteYes they are still here.
