Visiting, cooking , cutting grass and brushing the dogs.

Where are we today ?
A nice morning walkabout the quiet acres here, stop by the garage in town to check out and  see whats new then off to New Hamburg to pick up a few groceries while Suzie visit her gramma (98 yrs old).
passed this huge field of sunflowers, so beautiful
Back home I made up a nice big bowl of pasta salad and Suzie whipped up a blueberry cheesecake for tonights supper.
pasta salad (recipe under the tab above)
Suzie's tasty cheescake,
oops half gone !!
Then with a  nice sunny afternoon I hopped on the grass cuttin machine for an hour or so and mowed a couple acres of lawn.
enjoyed all the colorful flowers too
While I am cutting Suzie getting her dog fix brushing Molly, Buddy and a visitor for the day Jersey.
she is brushing Jersey
Jersey loves the pool
More brushing
Then chat with Lea on the back deck for a while while she fire up their grill to do some potato pockets and pork chops for supper, to add to the salad and cheesecake.
Lea does a great job on the grill
so tasty and hit the spot.
We all had a great day, an awesome supper, great conversation and fun times with our hosts, John and Lea.
Thank ya'll for stopping on by to check us out, we are awesome and hope you are too.

  3. I can see why you had an awesome day. I loved the flowers, loved the food and loved the dogs. Of course, there were many more things that looked great ... like a swimming pool on a hot day.

  6. The sunflower field looks fantastic. When we were in Italy riding the train, we saw something similar. All I could do was stare.

Oh my goodness...those handing baskets are outstanding.

Jersey sure knows how to keep cool.

Nothing like a swim in the pool to cool you down that's for sure.
