Fri. June 17th, Just puttering around...

Join us as we travel North America in our
Holiday Rambler Vacationer, since August 2006

Friday morning and its sunny and warm lovn the weather. My morning walkabout allows me to savour the peace and quiet before the weekend when the families arrive to enjoy the sunny outdoors.
quiet morning

No plans today, just putter around doing stuff. Our satellite dish was being finicky so I checked things over and found a cable was broken inside, replaced that with a spare cable works great now. In to the Arkona market for some still warm french bread, kaiser buns, and some ground beef made fresh daily to make hamburgers for supper.  Now its a nice day to wash windows, so I removed all the screens cleaned them and made our windows sparkle inside and out, wow did't realize they were so dirty.

So a bit more puttering I made a bowl of potato salad and a couple burger patties, now we can relax in the shade and sun with our books. Also watching people arrive for the weekend, setting up, backing in trailers, entertainment for us retired people. Also chatted with a few neighbours and a very vocal basset hound that moved in next door. Dog conversations can be fun.

Soon our stomachs said time for supper, so I fired up the barbie to grill a couple tasty burgers and fresh potato salad for supper.
there is a juicy burger under all the toppings

After supper we can chat a while, read for a bit then noticed Phil and Judy had a campfire, so off to visit with our chairs, a beverage and a piece of firewood to chat, solve the problems of the world and watch the activities of all the campers now in for the weekend.
lots of activity

Now before we know its starting to get dark and realize its almost 10:00pm, past our usual bedtime, I guess we should go home and call it a night, after another wonderful day in the great outdoors, its hard to stop playing when we are having so much fun.
