And the tropical heat wave continues, 24c (74f) at 6.00am and around 35c (92f) before noon. With the humidex around 45c (110f), still feels real good. Our morning coffees and sticky buns with Karen then she packed up her coach and headed back to Oshawa to be at work for 11:00am.
A bit later I went to town for a few items and ran into Barb who we have not seen for a few years. We met her and John at The RV Rally in Perry Georgia March 2008. And found out they spend the summer at her father's cottage near Buckhorn. We agreed to get together and meet at their place for 2:00 pm to catch up with each other. So after lunch a nice visit with them at their cottage on the river, and promise to keep in touch more often, they usually spend their winters on the Gulf Coast by Corpus Christie Texas.
the road to their cottage, a nice view
Back home to make supper of BBQ's chicken and a large bowl of potato salad, then relax in the shade with a book for a while before joining a neighbour and their children around their campfire until the skeeters came out around 9:45.
