Join us as we travel North America in our Holiday Rambler Vacationer, since August. 2006
Another hot, humid day, overcast and raining off and on. We had another relaxing day with a nice walkabout between rain showers to the craft sale at the clubhouse, and even a few bike rides as well. We did some computing, trying to put together a tentative itinerary for our upcoming winter migration.
This is a very busy resort, all day long rv's were coming and going. Something we have never noticed before as we have not been here on a weekend in the summer. Most resorts we have been to people come for the weekend and leave. Everyday here is busy.
Then we were able to sit outside under our awning enjoying the rainfalls, cooling mist and even read for a while between rain showers. Before we knew it was time for supper, BBQ'd hamburgers and french fries were on our the menu today, our little Fry Daddy sure comes in handy.
After supper more rain we read outside for a while then relaxed with a nice movie on tv for a change.
Strange Canadian Laws
In the town of Ponoka Alberta 1929 the construction of an outhouse at every house was mandatory. The construction guidelines were very strict and it must be fitted with a 5 gallon bucket to be dumped twice a month in the appropriate corner of the towns nuisance grounds.
