       Sure glad that we put our sewer and water hose away last night, This morning at 4 am was 24 f outside, everything was pretty frozen, Time to get out of here anyway.  Waiting for the sunrise and some warmer weather, Did get a few nice walkabouts for a while then secure our coach and headed on down the road about 9:15 am. Heading west to Why Arizona.

     Love my morning walkabouts wherever we are, and this is a nice place to do them.

          On the road to I-10 west to Tucson art 90:15 stopped at the Pilot rv fuel lanes to fill the coach and car only $2;24.9  a gallon another good price.

       From here south of Tucson to highway 87, 120 miles more  to Why.  0Nn  a road we really enjoy, 2 lane very little traffic and  wonderful scenery. Much better than I-10 west.

        About noon we found a stopping spot  so pulled over to get a walkabout and enjoy a tasty light lunch.

now we in Why

    Checked in and now $10. a day, $42.00 a week,$125 a month, $575. for a year,  dry camping but we have decent free wifi. Washrooms, dump station,  water taps , activities, laundry room, just no electricity,  Not a problem for us with our solar  we really enjoy this areas.

      We enjoyed a very nice warm afternoon reading our e-readers . Then soon tome to whip up supper.

      Tonight we decided on some Peameal back bacon we bought from home with a fried egg, and some chinese noodles with veggies on the side.

     That was our very nice relaxing travel day, now settled once a agin for a few days just because we really enjoy this campground and area.

Relocating and enjoying more of this heat wave we are having.

last time here at "Camp Awesome" until the spring 

     As usual up early 5 am got some computing and coffees, done, exercises for my back and actually feel pretty good , Back and leg doing well and got a nice walkabout around 7 am. At 7:30 we secured the coach and down the street to Pettigrew's Garage, Dale gets our coach all set for the winter, Lube oil, filter, check everything out and changed the oil and filter on our generator as well.      
     After he was done we hooked up the car and headed down the back roads to Rock Glen Resort, our home membership park where we get full hookups and no overnight fees. Yup we make good use of this system that is for sure.

       We pulled into Rock Glen resort at 11 am check in and set up on our favourite site and had lunch by 12. noon.

again a perfect late day here still pretty warm only got to
92 f (33C) 

      Got my exercises and ice packs done for my leg and back now really feel amazing about 95% pain free and I can do my walkabouts again. Yahoo !

      Got to enjoy our e-readers in the shade for a while, our friend Ron stopped by for a chin wag nice to see him again.

         About 4:30  turned on our Air conditioner for a bit (Suzie's request) inside about 94 f so is now nice and comfy inside for her.
        Me, I whipped up our salad and grilled couple of Turkey Garlic sausage on our Weber Q 100 to go with it.

      After supper outside to relax and enjoy this amazing warm weather still with us. Our friend Paul stopped by to chat for a bit, I finished posting this blog, Read a bit more then head on inside to join Suzie in front of the tube.

Relocating to Plattsville for a week and watch 2 grands play hockey

Where are we today ?

Plattsville Ontario

      A warm night again nice sleeping with our windows open and awnings down listening to the rain, so calming it is. Then up early and did manage a couple of short walkabouts between the rain drops. Waiting for it to let up a bit before we hook up our car to head on out. Only have a 90 minute drive on the back country roads so no big rush.
      By 10 am we were all secured and head on out. Stopped at the Go Co on highway 22 right on our way to top up our propane only. 62.9 cents a litre, and fuel our coach as well.$1;15 a litre.

       Enjoying the nice back roads arrived in Plattsville at noon, had a bite to eat and got set up. Quick trip to New Hamburg for a prescription refill  and a Turkey for our Canadian Thanksgiving, no go, they are sold out of Turkeys! go figure. So will check around a bit more.
       Shortly after 3 pm the skies opened up but I did get our awning out and secured, so we are nice a dry here. Temps dropped to only about 70 f but still nice and comfy outside. Weber Q hooked up and for supper tonight a couple of our favourite Onion and Parsley Turkey burgers will do the trick. Nice and tasty they are.

       Fired up our Weber Q to preheat and grilled our Turkey Burgers, That's it for supper tonight we don't need any thing else.

     Supper and dishes done then down to the Arena to watch 2 our grands play hockey, Number 4 has a tryout at 6 pm and Number one an exhibition game from 8:15 till 9:20. Kinda late for us but maybe we can do it!

      Down to the arena to watch Grandson #4 in the tryouts,and as usual he is amazing! But heck what else can we say? He is our grandson!

       Back home for a bit and then to see Grandson number 1 in an exhibition game at 8:15 tonight. It is only a couple of blocks away from Camp awesome .

      So back we go and enjoy this game and wow what a fast paced game it was. These guys really move and now have body contact, This was amazing hockey that we really enjoyed, And am sure the boys did as well.

      They played 3 full periods and ended up tied with score  1 to 1. His team was 2 men short when they tied the game. Not to bad for an exhibition game.

       Got to chart with him for a bit after the game then head back home, finish this posting and tome  to call it a night. So nice to get together with the family and watch our grandchildren doing their best with  the sports that they love.

Where have we been this summer ?

Moving on down the road again, new places, new faces and new neighbors.

       Another wonderful day in the forecast. Visiting with Chris and Bill this morning for a bit then a nice country walk down the road for a while after coffees and computing . The morning sunshine is wonderful, nice and warm.

       After chatting for a while and more coffee we said our see ya laters, secured the coach, hooked up the car and headed on down the road about 10:30 am. Later than usual but only a 2 hour drive today.

nice back country roads most of the way, so peaceful and no traffic.

         By 12;30 we checked into Rock Glen resort our home membership park that we can enjoy 2 weeks free camping with full hookups. And we make good use of it year round. Many more parks that we can stay at with the same features.

one site away from the one we prefer, but someone
 has booked it for a few days
so we can stay here for2 weekend not have to move.

bit of rain at 4:10pm.

       We did get some quality reading time in. I finished a Robert Crais book and started another. I am really enjoying this author.

        Supper on our Weber Q tonight I cooked a salmon fillet for Suzie and a Tuna steak for me. The salmon fillet is easy to do but the Tuna is pretty precise to get it done the way I like it,( 2 minutes a side ) for that recipe click HERE or my recipe blog top right side bar.

     This sure hit the spot for the 2 of us and now we can enjoy a wonderful warm evening outside on a pretty nice mild, bug free evening with no wind. Posting this blog and more reading time in. This is what we really enjoy about this lifestyle.
