Just enjoying more amazing weather here. Wonderful early morning walkabouts the fairground and along the Nith river right behind us So quiet here now.
spring flowers
The fairgrounds are deserted, you would never would know there was thousands of people here yesterday.
Our friends Paul and Judy were heading out this morning and well as John and Barb. We gonna hangout and enjoy the peacefulness for another day , just cause we can.

I found that today is a Memorial Motorcycle ride for Tyler Todd  a local  soldier from Plattsville who passed away while serving Canada in Afghanistan in 2010. This ride is in memory of him every year since then. Ride for Tyler Todd click HERE
Rob and I drove over to see this and with perfect riding weather was an amazing turn out today.
the road by the arena lined with Canadian flags
this is the group riding today,
292 motorcycles
quite a few with 2 on a bike
getting lined up ready to go
It is an amazing site to see took about 8-9 minutes for them all to pass one place. Below is an 8 second video of the roar all the bikes passing by.
The ride is about an hour and they all return here for a BBQ , Music and raffles. A wonderful fundraiser.
Rob and I headed back to New Hamburg , so wonderful here just our 2 rigs left. We will be heading out in the morning.
A relaxing Happy hour just the 4 of us, nice..
Then our usual time for supper grill a couple chicken breast and fresh asparagus to add to our salad.
oh live our chicken
Glad that y'all stopped by for a peek hope you had a wonderful relaxing Sunday as well.

  1. Hi George and Suzie; It is nice to catch up here, I have been having a terrible time with my laptop and ended up taking it in for a new one and upgraded at the same time. Lenovo Edge 15 I do NOT recommend to anyone. Anyway, I just wanted to comment on the bike ride, when we had our motorcycle these were the types of days I enjoyed most. I loved riding in the heat! Take care!

I gave up on windows many years ago, love my Mac.
We don't have a Motorcycle anymore , but this sure would have been fun.

  2. That's definitely a nice tribute to a fallen soldier. Love the pride it shows.

  3. What a great turnout. I'm having a real hard time finding good produce. You'd think it would be plentiful here.

Most of our produce come from Georgia right now, soon will be local stuff here.

  4. I love a motorcycle parade, and this is a great way to remember a hero. We are finally out of the rain and are
looking forward to some sunny days. Life is good.
