Now 3 days in row with Amazing weather, whats not to love about that?

Where are we today ?
Again today we do not have much of a plan. The weather guesser says rain today so we headed out at 9 am to Strathroy and the Staples store to have another copy of Suzie's family tree file for another family member, only 165 pages. The reunion is The second Sunday in June.
While in town we stopped by the Walmart, Giant Tiger and a couple other stores  but did not spend any money. We know what we want and shop quickly. So all this done we home by 11 am. Puttered around a bit made a bite for lunch and got a few more things done. Still no rain. So a few walkabouts, chat with some neighbors here, read and putter some more.
Temps close to 27c( 80f) and still no rain. We doing good.
this is the temp at 6 pm! perfect.
Fired up our Weber Q 100 about 3:30 and set our pork ribs on the grill (low and slow) Wrapped in foil and slathered with sauerkraut for an hour or so until tender. Our friend Al dropped in for a chat to catch up, (It's been a while). Then I whipped up a salad to go with the ribs. The trick is large salad and small meat portions. Makes for good healthy eating and we very seldom have desert other than plain fresh fruit, no sugar no toppings. Works for us!
Sure was tasty, love ribs !
That was it for another day, sunshine , warm weather and no rain. And a bonus the campground is all but empty = Love it !
Glad that you took the time to stop by and hope you had an awesome day too.
Check out the interactive map below to see where we have been this Spring and Summer.

  3. Well, I wrap the ribs in foil once in a while but never add the kraut. What a great idea! Love the weather you're having too.

    1. The kraut adds extra flavour to the ribs, tenderizes and smells great on the BBQ.
