June 11th, Friday today and my daughter's 42nd birthday and Suzie's Gramma is actually today 95 today.(we already celebrated at the farm 2 weeks ago because every body was around). But if I live to be 95, I will celebrate every day! We are taking Gramma to Anna Mae's Restaurant in Millbank Ontario for lunch.
A great place to go in a small mennonite village for some homecooked meals and bakery items. So popular that the 178 seat restaurant was full when we arrived at 11:30 am, (parking lot full and 2 buses will do it) but only a rewarding 20 minute wait for their famous broasted chicken (our favourite).
After a leisurely lunch, chatting and drooling over the huge selection of homemade deserts. We continued our country drive to drop Gramma off , visit for a few minutes then back to the farm to putter around for a while. Chat with Dennis and Sandy, and even had a hamburger (Dennis cooked tonight because we did not need any supper), Sandy did manage to persuade me to eat, with my love of food and lack of will power we joined them. Then sat on the porch watching the sunset and playing with Omer.
