Where are we today ?

Now this is going to be a wonderful day! Sun is rising to clear blue skies and no wind right now, before 6:30 am, first walkabout was wonderful so peaceful. Another walkabout at 7:30 still great out here, loving this weather!
Then at 8 am I headed out for another longer walkabout. Into part of the village and very nice 5 km (3 mile walk) around the block. Back home shortly after 9 am and feel wonderful ready for the day.

Home to putter around for a while and light tasty lunch, homemade soup and fresh fruit as usual sure hit the spot. And another walkabout the park with Suzie. The sun is shining and the skies blue but with a chilly breeze on our site. Only got to 50 f but in the sun was comfortable enough to sit outside and read. We looking for a spot that was not so windy and we found one not far way.

A bit later our friends Emile and Monique pulled in and got a site just down the road from us. Nice to see them again, was last summer I think when we last hooked up.

Before we knew it was Happy hour and Emile, Monique, Paul and Judy joined us on our sunny site and the wind even dies down for us . So nice to catch up with everyone and share some of our winter travels with each other.

Eventually we got some shade and the temps dropped, time for supper anyway. I fired up our Weber Q to grill a Turkey Burger for Suzie and a Chorizo Burger for me, added to our tasty healthy salad.

A sunny day like this sure does the trick and give us lotsa energy, soon the temps will increase as well. Beach weather maybe?

What a great day! Nice walk around the town. You had warmer temps than we did, couldn't sit outside, had to keep moving. :)

ReplyDeleteYes its been a while, but the weather has not been co-operating lately, we do have happy everyday just before supper, even just the 2 of us.

DeleteThat does look like a nice walk-about with a variety of sights and terrain. I'm not much for golf but that too looks like a nice destination. You still have BS chorizo? More will-power than me :) Enjoy that warm weather!
