When I started blogging back in 2006, the purpose was to keep track of our lifestyle and travels mostly as a journal and so our family and friends would know where we are. Now we have a larger family and a lot more friends. Back in 2009 blogger started tracking the page views (my views not included).  And now after over 2,300 blog postings we will reach over 1 million.
Now know we get a few comments every day but usually between 1 and 2 thousand page views daily as well. Just never thought that many people would be interested in where we go and what we do. Want to thank y'all for taking a peek.

The weather is much milder again today and the snow is almost gone. Temperature got up to 18c (64f). and some sunshine. Unseasonable for this time of year for sure, but we will take it!
Early this morning I went to New Hamburg still kinda chilly, and did a couple miles on the indoor track, picked up a few groceries and back home. Finished up making a pot of chicken noodle soup for lunch, from our grilled chicken on the Weber the other night. Then outside to enjoy this wonderful weather and wash the 2 vehicles we have been using, just cause I could.
love homemade chicken noodle soup
snow almost gone,
love it !
Still nice and sunny so cruised into Tavi and did another walkabout for a while, gotta like this warming trend getting us ready for when we get back to our house in Pilot Knob California this Friday afternoon. The forecast says it will 90f (32C) then cooling to the low 80's (26c) we will take that too.
Just few pics in  town today.

Suzie has a new friend, Indoor Kitty
 (Molly) sleeping on her lap
This afternoon Suzie's Dad came for a visit and she will accompany him for a check up at his family doctor in town at 4:15. then they will come back here and have supper with us. Gonna grill up some chicken breast we have to add to a salad.
quick, easy
 and tasty
Then into Plattsville for the 6 pm game. Just in time to see an awesome sunset here in town.
we do have nice sunsets here too
Grandson number 3 has a hockey game at 6 pm. Looking forward to that again. We are getting our hockey fixes with the grands. Suzie's Dad came to enjoy the game as well, glad that he could come.
It was  a fast paced game and close but they were defeated 4 to 3 . Bottom line we all had a great time.
he is number 87 in the center
He is hungry after a good game,
his mom gets him some food.
and she is my baby
Another fun day here, so nice to spend time with family and the grands. Suzie and her Dad before we head back down to California to our house on Friday.
Thanks for stopping by again, hope you had a great day too.
Wonder who will be our one millionth page viewer, if it is you would be nice to let us know.  No prizes we just curious. Actually if you are close to where we are maybe we take you out for dinner! Sound like a plan?

  13. Congratulations George! I know why so many people view your pages. Your blog is short and sweet. Always positive. And you are kind and considerate. That all comes through in your blog and your responses to the comments. Suzie will miss her kitty fix.

    1. Thanks for the kind words. I like to always think positive, sure does make one feel much better and healthy too.
Thats funny because she was never a cat person. Suzie grew up on a farm and cats were only in the barn to keep the rodent population down.
