Moving right along, just getting things done.......... Hmm what's this mark on my arm...

Where are we today ?
This morning a couple inches of snow from overnight. So at about 7 am went out, fired up the snow blower and cleared the drive and sidewalk. Easy work yep cold,  but was done in about 20 minutes. Now car warmed up and my morning cruise to Plattsville, chat with the guys.
Back home for a family meeting about this house and decisions were made. We are moving forward and thats a good thing.
don't like the looks of this
Now I have this issue with a mark on my arm so called my Doc and went in this afternoon (Stratford 30 minutes west) to have her check it out. me thinking a Tick bite or Lime disease. While I did this Suzie took her Dad the other way to Kitchener to visit her mom.
Doc did some research and stuff, might be ok but we will keep an eye on it for the next few days.
Then back home work on the drywall issue, fixing it up, patch and paint, no big deal.
repair work to do
Now just a matter of cooking supper. We had chicken last night and wanted more (yep we love chicken) so picked a whole chicken, to do on our Weber Q 100.
chicken and zucchini slices
Found a few frozen fries in the freezer so baked them up to.
all said and done a great day
Thanks once again for taking a peak and dropping by, just keep on enjoying your lifestyle no matter where you are.

Check out the interactive map below to see where we have been this past Winter.

  2. Oh dear...that mark looks ugly. Hope it doesn't hurt. Good idea to keep a close eye on it.

  3. I sure do hope that mark turns out to be nothing, but you are right to quickly have it checked by a doctor. I would be afraid of it.

    1. Does not itch, not sore and no swelling, but could very well be.

  5. No, it doesn't look so ugly to me. The outer circle is just plain 'older age bruising'...maybe a simple bug bite. Just saying!

    1. Thing it will be gone soon too, but that's a thought Billy Bob, maybe could be allergic to snow and the snow blower, good excuse to head south don't ya think?

  7. I also think it looks like it might be a spider bite. Hope it goes away fast for you.

  9. Is it getting any worse? Bill always seems to have bug bites and I can be beside him and never get any.

    1. I very seldom get bug bites, but when I do my body seems to react to them.

  10. Good that you went to the doc to have it checked out... wonder what insects are still around with all that snow, ice and freezing weather?

  11. What insect is right, that confuses me and the Doc too.

  12. I think it is a spider bite and you might have got it while moving things around in the basement. However they ususally are itchy. Keep us posted.

  14. You sure have your work cut out for you. At least it will help you pass the time while you wait for the snow to melt and spring to arrive.

Hopefully, that mark on your arm goes away pretty soon too.

  17. I'm still upright and breathing. I would check a doctor though just in case it could be lime disease.
