Suzie enjoying the view!

Wow March 1st!!! Time sure flies only 51 days left before we get back to Ontario. It sure will be nice to see the family and friends again, but it will be much colder than we have been used to all winter.
As we watched the sunrise and the moon set, looking out the front window a huge black mass inches above the water heading north for about 15 minutes was thousands of large birds a very impressive sight. About 9:00am I looked up from my computer to see dolphins playing in the surf. Such a beautiful site only about 100 yards away, and I did manage to catch a few snapshots of them.
This area is surrounded by sand dunes and very quiet right now. Apparently Easter week is the busiest time of the year here. Something we are getting more used to is the livestock (cows, bulls, goats, sheep, chickens turkeys, even horses) that just wander about everywhere, over the sand dunes , into the campground, down the road, at the side of the road, thats why people fence their property, to keep the animals out. We walked a couple of miles down the beach after lunch and checked out some of the beautiful mansions, and some shacks all shoulder to shoulder on the beach. Quite a few work crews were rebuilding, repairing and doing maintenance on these places. After Hurricane Jimena damage from last August.
Back home finding its now pretty windy outside so we putter around a bit and read inside  (still have the sun and the view thou). Then before ya know it we are having a roast pork , potatoes, carrots and applesauce for supper, followed by a movie.
