We had a good nights rest at Huatabampito and on the road about 8:30am back to the Mex 15 Quota heading north. We took the truck route around Navojoa as suggested by Tom and Ginger, mostly to avoid a possible fine for driving a heavy vehicle thru town. This was a very rough road, lotsa trucks but no town so pretty. good.
We fueled at a Pemex just before San Carlos (no accident this time) and arrived at the campground Totanaka RV, about 1:30pm. We checked in and were greated by the manager there" Welcome Back" he remembered us from our weeks stay in early December.
Chatted with a few neighbours and set up. Good internet and Cable TV! (in English). And we sat in the sun and read for while.
Then we decided to go for our last Mexican supper across the road at Charlie's Rock. Here we can sit up at a counter with only the ocean in front of us and enjoy the view of boats and the birds that would come right to you if you feed them. This meal again was excellent with an appetizer of fried peppers stuffed with large shrimp, a dozen huge coconut scallops, a fried fish fillet with rice and perfectly steamed fresh vegetables, followed by a beautiful sunset into the mountains, an nice walk home and a real television show!!, that we fell asleep in front of anyway.
