Where are we today ?

Well here it is again Christmas eve, in the heat and sun of southern California spending it with good friends. Do we miss our families? Yes we do but hopefully we will be able to make contact with them soon, with a video chat. We will try anyway. No matter we will see everyone in the spring and summer when we return home. Or catch up soon.
Suzie and I are doing well, health is holding up still loving this amazing lifestyle, moving around the country, new places, new faces and meeting up with good friends in our travels.

After lunch a couple of walkabouts, cruise around the back roads for a bit and enjoy our page turners in the shade. Only 82 F but we will handle that no problem.
Just another excellent day in the works. And another Christmas without snow and cold weather, loving it. Do we miss the snow? nope sure don't. Out nice and early for a first of a few walkabouts this morning by 9 am I had 2.5 miles in. Then it was time to set up our Christmas decorations before its too late. And some nice sunrise views.

Decorations done so we went to watch the guys play Bocce Ball for a while, they all having fun as usual. Then home for a light tasty lunch.

Walking back home for lunch we stopped to visit Loree and Freddy. He's such an amazing dog always glad to see us, our anyone else for that matter and always makes you feel welcome.

Now in the afternoon sun we set up our sunscreen , just because we needed to have a bit more shade.

And here it is Happy hour at our house today, we all here flapping our gums, conversations going everywhere, a few laughs and just enjoying each other's company.

Shortly after 5pm everyone headed home for supper, I whipped up a salad, heated up our fry Daddy as I caught the sun setting off our patio.

And some very tasty catfish fillets with our salad and some steamed asparagus, thanks to Pat for the donation.

What a wonderful Christmas eve day we had , excellent weather to be outside, enjoying the company of good friends and winding up with a very tasty light meal for supper. Preparing ourselves for the Christmas feast tomorrow that the park is putting on. Wrapping up this posting outside almost 8 pm and still comfortable here, but time to head inside for the night. Hope Santa is good to you.
