Hanging out, just enjoying much nicer weather than back home.

Where are we today ?
What another wonderful day, a bit cooler (in the mid 60'sf) and just a bit of sun here and there. But heck could be a lot worse back home.
A few walkabouts the resort, putter around, chat with neighbors and the day just seemed to fly right on by.
A few people stopped by walking their dogs and Suzie got her "doggie fix again". We do enjoy other peoples dogs, kinda like grand children, stop in for a visit, spoil them and they go home.
Suzie and her doggie fix
We even had a small amount of time to enjoy our e-readers outside. Not shorts weather but still pretty decent.
I did not mention earlier that on Sunday night I had somehow lost my wedding band. (maybe loosing almost 40 lbs had something to do with it). I put the word out and people were keeping an eye out for it. Yesterday I found it under the right rear wheel of our coach, next to the cement patio. And I was able to tell all the campers that walked by and asked that yes I did find it! Amazing how many people here were looking for it and remembered.
As the day progressed was time to fire up our Weber Q.  Gonna grill some Turkey Bratwurst, yellow peppers and broccoli in foil.
Added this to a tasty salad and we had a yummy supper.
After supper very was dark but we enjoyed our e readers outside until about 7 pm, getting kinda chilly and time to head back inside for the night. Post this blog and become a couch potato in front of the tube, until Suzie wakes me up to go to bed.
Hey thanks for stopping on by, glad you took the time to check us out.

  2. We're also a lot warmer than it is back at home. They had a mighty storm with high winds and now they're expecting snow!! It definitely gets too dark too early for me. In the morning it stays too dark too long for me too.

    1. We have discussed that many times, but think she much prefers it this way.

  4. Nice find on your lost ring. One less worry.

I concur with Sassy, you two should get a dog for Suzie. Hey, a robotic one might work too. Less fussing and clen-up.

    1. A robotic one is a thought, but visiting other people dogs works good too.

  5. Yes, better than being back home. We are getting the arctic blast with highs only in the 20's and 30's in the middle of the country.

    1. Dogs are great company but would tie us down more than we want right now.

  8. I came very close to losing my wedding band within weeks of first getting it. It's a sinking feeling, that's for sure. Found mine, glad you found yours. I tend to go without it when I'm working, keep it in a known safe place and then only wear it when going "out".
I think losing it, or misplacing it for a period of time, is something a fellow only does ONCE.

    1. A sinking feeling yes!
For the time being I have some tape on it until I get it resized.
Don't want to loose it again, thats for sure.

  10. Good looking and healthy meal George. Looks like the cold snap will make it down that way a little, but like you said - still beats Canadian weather.

  12. If you've lost so much weight that your wedding ring is falling off, I sure hope you're wearing a belt on your jeans, George!

  13. Not sure we'll be able to recognize you after losing 40 pounds. Congratulations on that and finding your wedding ring. Better get that ring sized properly or at least put on a ring guard, don't want that happening again.

    1. Me too glad, it was next to the My lawn chair and the Weber Q, two places that I use a lot.
