Sat. Oct. 16th 2010 New Hamburg

Join us as we travel North America in our Holiday Rambler Vacationer,
since August 2006

A nice bright sunny morning and a nice visit to see two of our grandsons. The oldest, Noah is taking karate lessons and we tagged along to watch him learning this skill. What a wonderful thing to see them learning and growing. After the lessons back to their house to celebrate his birthday, early as we do every year (its in late November). Chocolate cake with chocolate icing, and a couple of Wii video games were in order. These games are just amazing, basketball and a truck racing they all could be very addictive.

After a nice visit, back to the farm where Sandy was making cabbage rolls for supper, so I got to play with the Grasshopper  zero turn riding lawnmower. A fun to drive, very comfortable machine to trim a few acres of lawn.
After this we relaxed on the front porch for a bit with Omer enjoying the warm sunshine.

Then soon time for a very tasty cabbage roll dinner with creamy mashed potatoes, mixed veggies, cheese and pickles to be shared with a couple more relatives, six of us in all but could have been 8. There is always lotsa food anyway. Chat for a while then time to call it a night.
