Join us as we travel North America in our Holiday Rambler Vacationer, since August. 2006
Sunday morning was cool and rainy and supposed to be like this all day. We drove to Waterloo and picked up mother. From here we drove the hour and a half to my daughter Kim's in Aurora arriving at noon. The weather cleared up and we were able to sit outside in the back yard and on the deck. The grand children playing in the yard and sunny warming things up nicely.
It was nice to see everyone again after our winter away, and inspect Kim and Brians new (old) house. Very nice layout with the character of an older home, and all of the modern conveniences and upgrades to make it efficient. My son Ken's partner Jane was cooking today with lots of food prep, chopping cutting, mixing and stirring for a very tasty curry dinner. Of course some help from Ken , Kim and Brian.
Well everyone had a great day, catching up, playing and eating too much but all was good. We left there after 5:00pm to head back home and drop mother off then back to the farm to relax after such an enjoyable day.
