Join us as we travel North America in our Holiday Rambler Vacationer, since August. 2006
Overnight we had a very heavy rain, washed to yellow pollen off our vehicles, but then the weather turned cold.!! Only a high of 60f , overcast and drizzly most of the day. Wednesday evening we had the air conditioner on for a bit now today we have the heat on. No problem thou our plan today fits right in with the weather.
After a bit of grocery shopping we walked next door to Camping World to see what new rv accessories they had and we found a nice push bar for our screen door at a very reasonable price. So back home I installed it and we ate our leftover catfish and shrimp for lunch and watched the doves looking in our windows. Then down Music Valley drive, past Music Valley Village, Music Valley Centre, the Fiddlers Inn to Gaylords Opryland Hotel. (get the theme here?). We walked about the massive indoor gardens and walkways, shops and restaurants, enjoying the warm air that was not outside, and the beautiful blooms and many orchids strategically placed.
After here we took the short walk back to our car at the huge Opry Mills shopping mall. We drove the 1/2 mile to the far end for the Bass Pro Shop where we shopped and looked at all the outdoors and camping stuff. A pretty cool store.
Then back home to read and compute a bit before a light supper of a grilled chicken breast and rice & broccoli. Read a bit more and some tv. Still cold out, but we have heat.
