Where are we today ?

A very mild night last night was 54f at 5 am and gonna be a warm overcast and windy day. No problem, we can enjoy that too, hey it is not cold and no snow. We have a plan. Today gonna check out the
Homestead Heritage Village again, last time was March 17th 2012 you can check that
here if you wish.
We decided this at 7:30 this morning and they don't open until 10 am only 30 miles away. So because I could wash our motorhome and car. no permit required and they have nice soft water here. It has not been washed since early last fall.

Did not leave here until 10 and arrived shortly after 10:30 we checked all the buildings and displays , chatted with many of the very friendly people working there demonstrating their crafts. A worthwhile place to visit for sure. Admission is free, but to purchase anything sure makes up for it. No real deals to be had here but still a fun outing.
Took the trail to the Blacksmith shop where they were making some very nice forged pieces.

Because we spent a few hours there and it was now noon, we decided to check out the Cafe for lunch. Not too busy yet. Was lined up when we left though.

Left here and down the road to the cheese factory, tasted some samples but their cheese prices over $30.00 a lb hmm. Guess we are not the kind of shoppers they want here.
They also have a nice market. grocery store and an general store all very nice to check out but again much to pricey for us. I just can't see $6.00 for a dozen eggs! free ranger or whatever,

Ok that was a fun day checking pout all that neat stuff, time to head on home;. Back here by 2 pm raised our feet and enjoyed reading outside in the mostly sunny skies and out of the 25 mph winds, Temperature was 76f but th cooler with the breeze.
I finished one book and dove into another .
Now because of our large tasty lunches not much hungry for supper so a for a change how about a grilled cheddar cheese with dill pickles and ketchup. That sure did the trick and filled the gap.
