Merry Christmas to ya'll.

Where are we today ?
Another warm evening last night but gonna get cooler for a few days here mid 60's but with sunshine we can handle that no problem.
Got my first walkabout done early this morning catch a bit of sunrise and nice fresh air, so loving it here and so quiet too.
awesome sunrise
This short video below is one my baby brother sent to me with him, me and our sister doing an elf dance. Kind cool if you care to check it out. Can you see me there dancing around?
Before 8 am I whipped into town to pick up a few last minute groceries, beat the crowds. And back home to finish off a pot of chicken noodle soup I made from some of the leftover chicken we did on the grill the other day.
love home made soup
Then we got out a few Christmas decorations, (not all of them) just cause we could and tis the season ya know. Christmas music and the firelog on tv really makes it feel like Christmas. Not missing the white Christmas but do miss our families, its a bit of give and take there.
Then I whipped down the road to Blair Station and picked up a new gas strut for one of our compartments that keep coming down and hitting me on the head. Another quick easy fix and only 13 dollars.
new strut fixes the problem
Followed by a nice afternoon walkabout, my 3rd of the day, did almost all of the park according to Betty about 3,500 steps, so all said and done I usually get around 10,000 steps every day by the time its over. No pedometer.
this is the upper pool and hot tubs
Then we got to enjoy our e-readers for a while, chat with a few people that stopped by and even Joe and Betty stopped in to chat for a while as well. Nice to catch up some more again.
Soon time to fire up our Weber Q , grill a nice salmon fillet for supper as the sun is setting behind us across the desert in Banning pass.
love the sunsets here too
we ready for Santa
excellent salmon fillet
yummy
stocking are hung, firelog burning and Christmas carols
perfect for a Chritsmas eve.
Then Suzie found an Indiana Jones marathon on Tv, always enjoy his movies!
Thanks for the visit today, and if you are in the area feel free to stop by.

Merry Christmas to everyone out there!

  12. Merry Christmas George and Suzie, enjoy the day. We are having a green Christmas this year. High of 11C on Christmas eve but cooled down to a high of 3C for today. It makes it nice for travelling as we head off to Stratford for Christmas dinner at my sisters this afternoon. Take care.
