Meet up again with fellow Bloggers, Arizona Sunrise, Sunset, repairs done and a wonderful day.

Where are we today ?
Still wonderful weather here and we are loving every minute of it. Early morning walkabouts watching the sunrise, warm morning and so colorful.
so impressive sunrise
Then before we get too much sun I am going to attempt a stone chip repair on the windshield of our coach. Could not get it done in Benson, when we were there. But a comment from a fellow Paul Dahl  blogger suggested getting a kit from NAPA auto parts for ten dollars. So I stopped in yesterday  in Yuma and picked one up.
All peppered and ready to go this morning I set to work before the sun hit the windshield.
stone chip
this kit from Napa
All I had to to do was follow the instruction, pretty easy actually.
almost done
all done should work, easy and cheap, love cheap!
Then more walkabouts the resort and the desert, open spaces and blues skies, love it.
The pool here is inviting but not heated, too cold for me.
nice relaxing spot by the laundry
Then we enjoy some quiet time enjoying our e-readers for a while. Suzie got her doggie fix when Bruno stopped by for a visit.
Bruno stop to say Hi to Suzie.
Shortly after 1 pm Rene and Jeanette stopped in for a visit. Fellow Rv'ers and bloggers that we follow from British Columbia Canada we met last winter in desert Hot Springs. Check out their bog HERE if you wish. Such a super couple and so friendly. As usual we talked and talked (mostly me, cause I never shut up). They had been to Algadones Mexico (on their motorcycle) this morning only a couple miles away and stopped in for a coffee this afternoon on their way back home. So nice to see them again and get caught up from last year.
just pulling in
So busy chatting never did take a picture until time for them to leave. Amazing how the time flies by when just sharing stories.
ready to go
hope to see you guys down the road again soon
They brought us a nice treat too, Jeanette had picked up some  huge
fresh naval oranges in a campground on their way south.
Thanks guys we will enjoy them for sure.
Once they left we just hung out here enjoying more of this great weather and our e-readers, sure is nice that we both enjoy reading!
Before we knew it the sun was beginning to set. So time to fire up our Weber Q 100 grill a couple turkey burgers, grilled sweet red peppers and a tasty salad.
nice sunset
hit the spot
That was our wonderful day without going anywhere. Sunshine, warm weather and friends stopping in for a visit, sounds perfect to us. Hope you had a great day too.
Thanks again for stopping in, ya'll come back now hear?

We head out on Saturday but we know you two will get to enjoy several more Yuma sun-filled days. See you the next time we are close by.

  5. Bill's used that chip repair stuff... worked for him on our Scion. Sure beats replacing an expensive windshield. I'm just amazed at how often you meet fellow bloggers... what a treat!

    1. Hope that chip repair works, it does look much better, if not not a lot of money lost in trying. Only the last year or so we have met so many bloggers and is really a lot of fun. Associating real people to virtual ones.

  6. Nothing can be better. We bought a chip repair kit too, just in case. We haven't had to use it yet so hope it works. It sure is better than replacing the whole windshield. Enjoy those warm days.

  7. Had no idea that rock chips could be repaired by ourselves. Last time I paid 90 Bucks.

  9. Good job on the windshield repair, just think a glass place would have charged you $75-100 to do the same job you did. I'm sure you have much better places to spend that money on! :c)

  11. Great job on the windshield. One year when we were in mission, a guy down there had the same windshield kit. He fixed our windshield in a jiffy. And it stayed fixed as long as we had that car.

    Love the sunset photos. Gorgeous.
