HAPPY NEW YEAR !
Well here it is the last day of 2017, enjoying this warm dry mostly sunny weather in southern California. Another wonderful colourful sunrise that makes a great start.

After morning coffees and computing and a short walkabout I headed into Yuma at 7:45 for a few last minute groceries, nice to get this done before the stores get busy and traffic on the roads in town. Home shortly after 9 am Suzie had the laundry shorted so off I went to let the machines do their magic. Nice laundry here only $1.25 to wash and the same to dry, Want to start the New year off with clean clothes and sheets on the bed. While I did this Suzie swept and mopped the new floors in our house.

Laundry all done and wrapped up so we could enjoy a light lunch at 12 noon. After lunch I did a quick drive down the road to check out the Imperial sand dunes and as I expected the place is packed. Lots of people out there on their sand rails, dune buggies and atvs, even the little ones having fun on them as well.

Did get to do a bit of reading outside then about 2:30 fellow Bloggers Tom and Deb
(Celebrating the Dance )arrived for a visit at
Bill and
Patsy's We met Tom and Deb 2 years ago at Blogger Fest and follow each others blogs. Nice to see them again. Then
Bill and Dee with Doug the Pug arrived to join us as well. Heck here we are all bloggers and Rv'ers 2 couples from Canada and 2 couples from the United States. What do we have in common? Rving and blogging all of us loving this lifestyle and all of us here to get away from the cold snowy weather up north, to the sunny warm desert days here in the southwest.
And we shared stories flapped our gums and before we knew it was 5:30 Wow that was a long fun happy hour ! Sometimes we just get carried away, time flies when we having fun. But what the heck what else do we have to do? It was cooling down, we all retired to our homes to whip up supper.

Then about 7 o'clock we headed up to the clubhouse for the New years eve Karaoke. Joe tuns it and there was lots of people and quite a few new very good singers. Quite a few up beat songs, people were dancing , even us and quite a few duets.

We managed to enjoy this until 9:30 but I was yawning and it was quite cool in there, so time to head on home. We back here just before 10 pm and got to welcome in the NEW Year with times square, The time zones make it easy for us to enjoy midnight at 10 pm! Past our bedtime, but we made it.
