Much warmer today and a few more things checked off our list.

      Today an overcast rainy day but much warmer than yesterday and no wind was a bonus.
      Got a nice early morning walkabout done, down the road by the river before the rain began again.

so quiet and peaceful here really do love it

        Heading home a lady just walking her dogs down the road again so peaceful and listening to the birds

        Had an early light lunch then took Suzie to New Hamburg for a dentist appointment and right across the road I got call from my Optometrist  my new glasses came it. Perfect we are leaving tomorrow morning. Had my eyes examinded  last week and I am good to go just needed new lenses. I have new frames I have never used so they put a rush on it and are back today..
          Back home putter around for a while, put some stuff away, check tires oil etc.. in the rain. Then I prepped some stuff for our Turkey meat loaf and garlic mashed taters for supper tonight.

         Now the rain has stopped and temperature increased a bit so we set our chairs out and enjoyed a couple hours outside in the fresh air enjoying  our e-readers.

       Then soon time to begin whipping up supper. I sautéed  the onions, mushrooms and garlic to get ready for our Turkey Meatloaf. For the recipe click here or my recipe blog top right sidebar

        While the meat loaf was in the oven I added some carrots and broccoli in foil to cook up as well. boiled  couple taters and made some garlic mashed  potatoes to go with it for a very tasty supper.     

        Perfect for a rainy day and took care of another craving.

       Not too bad of a rainy day that we had , got more stuff done, and on the road in the morning, New places and new faces. Sure do love the lifestyle.
