Warm sunny day, Suzie shopping with me , lawn mowing and a refreshing swim in the pool.

         Just another wonderful day in paradise at Camp Awesome ! Got a very nice walk about` town first thing this morning for about 1.5 miles. Then just before 9 am Suzie joined me for a shopping trip to New Hamburg only about 10 minutes away. We bought a few groceries and she found a new pair of Dawg sandals  she likes and a hair band she wanted.  Then we stopped at Murray' mens wear store for new pair of dress shorts she wants me to have. Not cheap but they had a sale on so was not too bad and she likes them on me. She Happy me happy!

I started book #2 of the Scott Pratt series of 5 books
and really love his writing

    Our ride to New Hamburg and back is always  nice country drive. The  bales in the fields always look so interesting. Harvest time is here.

          Back home for a light lunch then I hopped on the mower for a couple of hours to get this acreage    taken care of, I got over half it done, mowed the grass around the pool , worked up a good sweat and we we went for a very refreshing dip in the pool .The pool was 79 f just about right!

     Now to relax in the shade end enjoy our e-readers, , we both have some great page turners we are immersed in.

       Soon time to make our salad and grill a couple of bone in chicken breasts on our grill mat (easy cleanup)

      Chicken is done nicely to go with our salad and some seafood salad Suzie had me pick up to go with it, just because , she was shopping with me.

    We had a very nice summer day , getting a few things done, a dip in the pool to cool off and tasty supper together, does it get much better? think not.
