Made it through another night, slowly getting some packing done.

       Another weird night sleep. but we got through it off and on, slept till 11 pm, full strength pain pill and sleeping  pill at 1 am , did not help sat up at 3:30 for a bit back to bed for an hour, 4:30 and again had some cereal and juice, back to bed 5 am, dreaming about a heating pad, Suzie got ours out for lower back and slept until 8 30 the heating pad seems to help, so will be using that some more.

     It is a nice sunny day not too windy and temps in the 50's. Did eventually get to 65 F.  Suzie did some sorting and packing a couple of boxes, a bit at a time, still no energy at all.  I had a high protein smoothie my from my brother the other day, that seemed to help a bit and a healthy homemade soup from daughter Kim.
     About noon I stretched out on the bed fo a bit, 2 hours later woke up felling rested some more, Being a nice sunny day went outside for a while. topped up our batteries and removed a few things for the outside compartments, our 2 carry on bags (they have some nice winter clothes in them) plus our Christmas decorations and Christmas tree.
      Then because it was so warm and sunny I sat on the porch with Suzie's sister Rose and BIL Ross for a about and hour. Gus joined us as well. I was getting chilly so back inside. Until time for supper. Then supper a couple of breaded chicken breasts stuffed with cheese and broccoli, broccoli and cheese on the side, and scalloped potatoes for Suzie.

    A bit later Ross joined Suzie and Rose just as I came in side, getting too chilly for me

     I came home a got supper together not long in the oven was very tasty,

this was mine but could not finish it
so I had an ensure for desert

       A fairly relaxing day,  just a bit of pain got some packing taken care of and some outside fresh air on a warmer sunny day.

Another good sleep, sunshine, warm and Rv friends visited twice!

Where are we today ?

         Heck 2 nights in a row with a pretty good sleep , and that is a real good thing up about 6 am and felt pretty good, still no energy, but more rested at least, I enjoy a bit if cereal OJ and a cup of coffee. Now raring to go, lol. but no energy to do is, lol..
       About 9 am decided to get outside, fresh air is always good and bright sunny day, so into town pick another bottle if ginger ale seems to settle my tummy.

      Then shortly after 10 am Randy and Gail dropped by for a visit, Good friends of Rose and Ross plus Suzie has know them on 30 years, They are also members of our Home Park Rock Glen resort.

     They invited us to breakfast in Tavi at Quehl's, so thought we would it try even though I was not hungry. We got there and checked the menu, always good food here. Well the food smelled wonderful.

      Thanks guys that was wonderful sure filled me up and not even over full.
Back to our coach just up the road and we relaxed on the porch, out of the wind and in the sun, a perfect 70F, what more can we ask for?

     After they left I enjoyed a short walkabout to the rear yard here checking out the beautiful fall colours, they did not disappoint.

      Then about 2:30 pm Ken and Kim stopped in for a very nice visit as well. Also Members of Rock Glen Resort we met when they joined about a year and a 1/2 ago, and they spent quite a bit of time with us in the southwest desert last year and even at Rock Glen as well.

     We enjoyed a wonderful after noon chatting and catching and then they headed out shortly after 5 pm. Hey we spent most of the day outside how much better can that be? Plus very nice Happy hour like we always enjoy.
       Shortly after they left I headed inside to relax for a bit and wrap up this posting, Really looking forward to another wonderful nights sleep looking for 3 in a row.

Sunshine, furniture shopping and a decent day

     Slowly making some progress. First thing got a much better sleep last night. First shift 9 pm till 1 am, then again 2 am until till 6 am all together 8 hours of good sleep, I guess it was time for a break? Feeling much better today, still weak and no energy  but heck can't get better overnight now can I ? lol. would be nice though.
    Actually had a cup of coffee, headaches gone away yahoo !!!  Then Suzie brought the water hose over so we could fill our fresh water tank and both have good hot showers.
       Then she sorted laundry and took it in the house to get 2 loads done, once that was started went into Tavi back to Francis Furniture to have them put on hold furniture to be delivered Nov 7th after we get accepted for the apartment hopefully on Monday. Bedroom suite, 2 recliners, and end tables. we have a nice kitchen table and chairs set at her girlfriends Chris' place, plus Suzie's cedar chest and some pictures etc. we have the tv from the coach we can take with us so that should at least get us started in the apartment. That has been taken care of. another thing off our minds.
   We had a light lunch then Suzie went to SIL Sandies place to store a car load of empty boxes my sister and brother brought with them yesterday to store until we can begin unpacking the coach to move, more things off the list.
   When Suzie got back home laundry done and we enjoyed a nice 90 minutes reading on the porch enjoying the sunshine and Kitty fixes with Gus.

      Then supper tonight we shared a pork chop with some whipped potatoes and a garden fresh tomato fro Dorothy's Garden at Rock glen. Oh so tasty!

and I was actually stuffed.

         And that is about it for our day, moving ahead slowly one day at a time, hoping for a relaxing evening and another good nights sleep. As we get things checked off the list Our minds seem to settle down, and that is a good thing. Not over the hump yet but seems to be smoothing out a bit,
       Thank you for dropping by with all the prayers and good wishes, and even offers of places to live (short term) sure makes a fellow feel real good.
        Hope you had a decent fall day as well. looking forward to some more sunny days in the 50's and 60's and night temps above freezing would be awesome.

Warm sunny, lawn mowing, just a great spring day.

Where are we today ?

      Guess I was all tired ou yesterday and slept like a log last night. Woke up at 6:30 this morning, about 2 hours later than normal. Another wonderful mild night and very warm morning as the sun came up. Got my first 1.5 miles walk down the road and around town for a bit. Then a nice country drive, Waiting for the grass to dry a bit and get the mower out. 4 miles walked by the end of the day.

           The Mower needed a boost from the car, but got it running and drove it down to our coach at the front of the yard where we had some power and put on the battery charger.  Then we enjoyed  had a nice light lunch then I will see what grass I can get mowed.

       At 12 noon I mowed all around the front yards and the house, the coach, play yard and pool area. Then around most of the 5 acres here for about 2 hours. Shortly after 2 pm it was cooling down clouds coming in temperature went from 75F to 65 f hmm. looks like rain. I got a lots of the edges done and only about an hour left to mow. Maybe on Wednesday, supposed to rain tomorrow and I have appointments to take care of.
       These 5 acres back onto farmland and various properties at the back so I have lots of opportunities too see many things.

         Now to enjoy a wonderful warm afternoon, with a few rain sprinkles so we deployed our awning and relaxed with our pages turners. Still a quiet comfortable afternoon outside. No complaints , listening to the mourning doves and birds chirping, loving this warm spring weather.

    Then I took a nice walkabout back through the bush here some trails not to wet and I enjoyed that for a while.

          A bit later John's son Jamie dropped by with their dog Shelby, nice to chat with him for a while and Suzie enjoyed a doggie fix with Shelby.

           Soon time to whip up supper . Tonight we will enjoy some shrimp burgers that we really love. Nothing else needed , these did the trick.

   These did the trick today, Seafood sauce to go with them. Too easy, ketchup, horseradish , lemon juice and tabasco to taste. Make it whenever you need it.

     We sure did enjoy a very nice warm sunny spring day for the most part. And the lawn mowing is always fun here as well.
