Where are we today?

A restless sleep last night and got up at 4:30 this morning. Hmm not well rested so just puttered around, for a while wheeled around the wings early for a while and enjoyed and couple of short naps to help me feel better,
Suzie got here about 9:30 this morning. We have a big day ahead of us. First of all Santa came to visit, a jolly old sole he is and always enjoy his visits, and a nice gift of a fresh candy cane from the north pole and not even broken yet.
We chatted for a while had a few laughs and he wanted to know why I was wearing his spare hat. To keep my head warm we are heading out.

Then stopped by the Kitchen to see how Michael was making out with the Christmas dinner they are having here this afternoon.

Then at noon we headed out down the hall to the car Suzie has waiting, my first outing since I have been here a number of weeks, going to her brothers house our Christmas dinner this year and also the first Christmas dinner with them since 2005, 14 years!

In the car fresh air sunny skies and window down, wow does this ever feel good.
We drove by our apartment but did not stop.

I only need a bit of help to get outta of the car and up the 4 steps inside the rest was pretty good.

A couple of rooms to hangout in 23 of us all together always great to see everyone that could make it

song and prayers we dug right in. |

but then I saw desert, oh my, pecan pie, apple crumble and coconut cream
I could not resist so more food |

Then time to gather around to hand out the Christmas cards and gifts everyone all together .
Then 2;30 pm time for me to head back again.

Back to my room changed settled in with a cold beer, relax for a while with Suzie then she headed home.

There ya go my first outing from here and a Christmas dinner with Suzie's family. Was this fun ? Was this Tasty? Was it nice to get outside?
Huge YES to all these questions and many more. Hopefully a few more outings it the future. Just need to stabilize a bit more and get off these needles 4 times a day.
