Where are we today ?

Another perfect mild night again about 52f at 5am. Think we can enjoy that. I wanted a few groceries so just before 8 am I made a quick trip to the Del Sol in Yuma, easy in and easy out back here by 8:30 no traffic and no crowds just the way I like it.
Got a few walkabouts this morning chatted, with a few people including Bill and Dee, Bill is heading back to Mexico for his crown today, hope all that goes well for him.

At about 12:30 we went to
Lin's Grand Buffet in Yuma for our favourite Chinese buffet. With Bill, Patsy, Roger and Sue. Only about a 20 minute drive so we got there at 1 pm after most of the lunch rush but still busy, no lineup really just a few minutes to pay 2 seniors for lunch with water $19.00 for good deal considering the choices of great tasty fresh food they have. We have been here many times over the years and never been disappointed. This is must for us when we are in the area.

We were seated right away our drink orders taken immediately and away we went to attack the buffet. Today we did not have breakfast, lunch or snacks so gonna do it all in one place.

Desert, lots of choices, our friend Pat Aljoe loves these bananas, too sweet for me. So many choices cakes, pies, fruit, ice cream oh my these bananas for Pat.

But I did have room for a bit of soft ice cream Rob Aljoe's favourite,

We had our fill some fun conversation and time to head back, we started to take the back roads but I made a bobo, turned too soon and ended back onto I-8 a bit of traffic back up but no big deal. Back home by 3 pm.

Home now even too full for happy hour so we just vegged out, Enjoyed the shade of our awning did get up to 85f (29C), no wind and clear blue skies. More relaxing reading time , what a perfect day for it too. ate an very tasty, Breakfast, lunch and supper. Because it was warm enough I wanted exercise our air conditioners, not that we really needed them but rain them each for about a half an hour, just because we could.

I did get a few more walkabouts done and finished a J.A Jance book then began another one of hers. Don't need to make supper tonight so get more reading and walking time, bonus! Got in 3 miles to help work off our buffet.

Then what a great way to wrap up the day again with another wonderful sunset, we are so blessed to be able to enjoy these most every night here in the southwest.
A fun day lunch buffet with friends and more great winter weather. Much better than back home . My sister sent me this weather for today below Kitchener is the area where we call home and the coldest day on record in the last 100 years. Sure glad we are here and not there.

That was it for us just enjoying the weather and good times with friends, and so glad that we can enjoy this amazing lifestyle. Nice enough to sit outside until almost 7:30 wrap up this posting and head inside for the night maybe cath a movie on tv, We have lots of choices.
