A quiet day, remembering our Father, a good sleep, apple issues, chat with the Doc.

Where are we today?
Stratford Ontario

Another wonderful nights sleep , this has been so nice I really enjoy it. And still totally pain free, from 8:30 pm until 3:45 am! I slept in by 15 minutes, amazing.

Fired up my Mac book and not co-operating, hmm a rare occasion, so I rested it a few times, shut off WiFi a few times, still no go? OK had my early breakfast, then a cruise about in my wheel chair, another coffee, and tried again an hour later, Yahoo my Mac is back. As usual never had any big issues over the years with my apple computers, just minor ones that normally end up fixing them selves.

Got my early meds and down to  the kitchen chat with Micheal after 8 am today, for a bit as he is prepping the soup and other food stuffs plus 2 Turkeys for a Christmas dinner here tomorrow that we will miss, (tomorrow that, you can read about that then)
tasty soups, and always good food
Then back to the room, a short walkabout then at 9:30 the Doc came in to check and see how I am feeling, discus my meds etc... no complaints here from me. Just enjoying the beginning of another great day.

Now at 10:30 Suzie arrived and we received phone call from another doc more consulting etc.. Then down for lunch. I was craving some ravioli so she brought me a bit for lunch and asked Mike for 1/2 a smoked smoked meat sandwich, but of course he made a whole one, no matter it was all good.
smoked meat was tasty I guess 1/2 and 1/2 worked for him, lol
and a bit if ravioli hit the spot too
our afternoon view, nice clear a bit of sunshine
our poinsettia is still is still going strong
Then at 2:30 happy hour evolved with my first beer a craft one from CollingWood this is where had our Cottage in the 1950' and 60's. Back then they built ships in the ship yards. Now ski hills, boutiques and craft beers. Amazing how things change.
tasty brew named after the ski hills

they getting the dining room set up for Christmas dinner tomorrow
at 5 pm dinner was brought and another tasty brew
dinner tonight, a favourite of mine sloppy joe's and potato salad
always tasty
I chatted with my sister for a while remembering our father who passed away on this date over 20 years ago age 69, from this dread full disease, cancer that's seems to run in our family, my brother at 38 years old. Looks like we will be together again sooner than planned sharing a cold one together.
doing what he loved even in retirement

That was our relaxing day together and looks like we will have a busy one tomorrow, looking forward to it.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by.

One day at a time
