Sunny ,warmer a few more LED bulbs and another Rv blogger joined us for Happy Hour

           As most of you know the Government shut down is over for now and everything here is back up a running so no issues here at the moment..
           Another cool morning but we cozy here and the sun is warming things up very nicely. Did not get our for my early walk, sorry not happening when it is about 36 F (2C) at sunrise. But I did take a drive to Blythe California for a few grocery supplies and home just after 10 am, Got some good deals at Smart and Final then a couple of items from Albertson's across the street.
           We enjoyed a nice light lunch as usual and I whipped into town to stop at Discount Solar , picked up 6 LED bulbs for our main living area, only $5.20 each and nice and bright plus all these bulbs use less battery power than than just one of these older bulbs use. Good deal , our first LED bulbs cost us $22.00 back in 2007 so these are now much more affordable for the last few years.

        What a difference these new bulbs make, they sip at the battery power and give is a much nice light when we need it,

      Then I removed our tow bar and bike rack so that I can take the tow bar into the Road Master truck to be checked out and serviced in the morning.

       Now to relax in the warming sun and enjoy our e-readers until time for Happy Hour at 3 PM.  At Tom and Debs today, and a bonus we had fellow bloggers Ken and Shirley join us from Seeing America with Ken and Shirley. We have been following each others blogs for quite a while and met them here 2 years ago, so its been a while. Nice to see them again in person.

           Time flies when we having fun and before we know it cooling down a bit and almost 5 o'clock so time for us all to head home and whip up our suppers. Tonight I am grilling a couple of boneless , skinless chicken thighs on our grill mat to go with our salad,

excellent and very tasty

      And as the timing worked out again I caught a nice desert sunset .

      We did enjoy another wonderful day in the desert again, love the warm temps and sunshine plus chatting with another great rv blogging couple.
