Plattsville, hanging out and really enjoying it!

Where are we today ?

Plattsville Ontario

         We are enjoying our time here at "Camp Awesome", cool over night and good for sleeping. Because we are in town I can got see grandson number 4, play hockey at 8 am in the arena. Then back with Suzie to watch grandson number 1 one playing a practice game too at 10 am.

         Now these games are all done and they all are skating quite well, we had too much fun here. Daughter number 2 invited us for lunch/breakfast at a local restaurant in town. We all had an awesome breakfast/brunch and a great social time. So nice to visit with the family when it works out. End up it was their treat for Suzie's birthday, thanks guys!

         By now it's mid afternoon and time to relax for a bit, I made a quick trip to New Hamburg for a few things and Suzie got to read for a while. Then the sun came out after overcast and rain most of the day. She took the dogs for a run and we chatted with John and Lea for a tiny bit. We will be leaving here for a getaway.

       Lea got home late afternoon from work and we had a bit of a social hour. Say goodbye to John, before he heads out in the morning, everybody busy here.

          Then we just headed home to whip up a light supper of a pork schnitzel on a fresh kaiser bun (with salsa and cheese) and a few baked beans , this sure hit the spot tonight.

       That was our day today and was very rewarding, hope you had a great day too.
