Border crossing rules, and another fun day here.

Where are we today ?
Below is a very interesting article bringing things up to date for  us Canadian Snowbirds,   Looks like "the good old days" of lax enforcement of day count will end in 2014.
Just click the blue print below to take you to the article.
On my early morning walkabout I spotted this lone Iris (I think that's what it is) all by itself in with a bunch of cactus. Just a bit of color here in the shade, so wonderful.
Then back home about 8:30 noticed neighbor Rob waxing the front of his 5 er using the long ladder he borrowed from our friend Ron. Hmm just what I need for a few minutes. So when he was done I borrowed it. To wash and wax the front of our coach above the windshield, my ladder does not quite reach this spot.
We got those chores done and relaxed with our books for a while. Added some water to our fresh water tank as we were told water will be shut down at 1 pm tomorrow for? So we are prepared no problem.
Just enjoying this great day with our books and chatting with neighbors works for us.
About 2:30 we had decided the six of us would order a mess of Broasted Chicken from Junction Express in Benson. (we love their Chicken).
We picked it up and incorporated an early supper with "Happy hour" and good bye party all in one. Ron and Loree are heading out in the morning working their way slowly back to Ontario. We will see them at some time this summer back home.
Now this really hit the spot
Then we had what I call a 6 inch rainfall here in Arizona. For about two minutes the rain drops hit the ground about 6 inches apart. Then we had a double rainbow, I think the first time we have seen one here in the southwest in the winter.
Now with the dry light wind and over cast skies, its amazing how cool 82f can feel.
the best shot I could get
of an interesting sunset tonight
That was another productive day here in the southwest, got stuff done and enjoyed visiting with good friends, and feasting on tasty food.
Thanks for the visit again, hope you had a great day too.
