Where are we today ?
When we checked in here for two weeks did not realize that we were leaving here on Canada Day, because it was Tuesday. Oh well most of the people here had a long weekend already and we just have to travel to Plattsville, to hang out for a few days. And get some repairs done to our coach. Canada is 147 years old today! I remember the 100th birthday celebration for Expo 67 in Montreal. I was there! That was in another life.

| Happy Canada Day |
We up early as usual, got computing, coffees and walkabouts done. Showers and secure the coach by 8:30 am.
 |
| nice sunrise |
Then across the road to the reservation (Terry's Gas Bar) fill up the coach and car 130 litres only 124.9 (thats $4.92 a US gallon) saving at least 10 cents a liter.

| not our pumps we Non Native |
Then heading on down the road, pretty quiet today for being a holiday, but still early.
 |
| nice country drive |
 |
| not much traffic in Bridgenorth yet either |
 |
| hopped on hwy 401 and just flew through Toronto, no slow downs at all |
 |
| 170 miles today |
We stopped at a picnic area for bite to eat and arrived in Plattsvillle by 1pm a really good travel day. Only a bit of heavy rain for a few minutes coming through Toronto.
 |
| Plattsville main street , pretty quiet |
 |
| Around the corner and down River Road to "Camp Awesome" |
 |
| by 1:30 all set up |
Suzie went to pick up our mail and I got our generator running, still a fuel issue, but think we have figured some things out.
Did get to read for a while in the shade before time to fire up our Weber Q and grill a couple Apple cinnamon Sausage we picked up in Missouri at Swiss meat and sausage.
Added these to a tasty salad and that really hit the spot. On another hot humid day.
That was another fun day and helps us scratch that hitch itch we have. Plan on being here a few days, visit a few people and get some work done on our coach. Then plan is to get back to Rock Glen Resort for a week or two.
Glad you could follow along with us and hope you enjoyed Canada Day to. Speaking of which listening to our Sirius Satellite radio broad casting from the USA they were mentioning this quite frequently and receiving phone calls from people all over Canada.
